When the Horsemen were still in their formative stages, Ole & Arn revealed on TV that Flair was a long-lost cousin of the Andersons. In the years that followed, Ric and Arn were shown as best friends, but I don't remember announcers ever playing up that they were blood relatives. Was this forgotten like how Edge & Christian were supposed to be brothers?

Pretty sure that a young Flair was originally brought into the Carolinas as a "cousin" of the Andersons (since the 1970s in Mid-Atlantic), before feuding with Ole & Gene a couple years later. They still always mentioned the Flair-Anderson relation in the 1980s, then stopped...so yeah, it was kind of like Edge & Christian.
