Am I the only one who is seriously worn out on wrestling? I just really can't get into pro-wrestling anymore... With the exception of a few things (save_us, and some ROH) I just can't get into it anymore. MMA>Wrestling for me right now, I've been watching MMA for 4 years now and I mean, I'm at the point where it is overtaking my enjoyment of pro wrestling by far. Anyone else feel this way?

I'm bored with both WWE and TNA. The only thing I'm interested in is 'save_us.222'.
But WWE's writing is simply awful. Same with TNA's. There are so many flaws with both products, it's not even funny. I imagine that if there's no improvement by January 2008, I'll stop watching.

I havn't watched wrestling regularly since before Wrestlemania. The stupid McMahon vs Trump thing really turned me off to even wanting to see see Wrestlemania and it was at that time that I moved to a place that didn't offer DVR services so it made watching wrestling an inconvenience for me.
I started watching in 1998 at the height of the Monday Night War and I think I may just have been watching wrestling too long (nearly a decade now). I mean to say most of the guys that were around in 1998 are gone now and I have seen all of the story lines and angles done over and over and over to the point that they no longer interest me. To some it up it's the "same old shit". New fans might be creaming their pants because the Undertaker teamed up with Kane for example but I have already seen that 15 times now and am not impressed.

Sick of the current stuff in WWE, to an extent but I usually watch some ROH or the older WWE/WCW stuff in their glory years.

I'm getting burnt out myself so I don't really care if I miss out on a TV show during the week.

I guess it's good that I sporadically watch. Basically watch what fits into my schedule. Sounds kinds of pompous to say it like that, but that's the best way to describe it. Anyway, I see enough to keep up but never make it through a full show. Except when I get RoH shows.

No wrestling is freaking awesome. And I always and will always think boxing is better than MMA. Because with boxing you know what your going to get. 2 guys standing up throwing punches, not all this guard and armbar stuff.

None of it is really must-see-TV for me. I usually watch RAW but I don't stay glued to the TV. I'll miss segments or matches a time. That goes for ECW too. I do watch all of TNA and it's the only thing I like anymore. It has alot of flaws but it's the best one on TV. I don't watch Smackdown because I'm never home. I just don't see the point in taping stuff anymore.

I'm sorta burnt out as well. I used to watch every show religiously... then I basically gave up on SD when the Heyman era ended, now I work until 10pm every weekday, and I quit bothering to tape the first hour and fifteen minutes of Raw. Occassionaly I'll tune into ECW...
I still watch DVD's if I'm in the mood, but I don't spend much on them anymore either. I did watch the majority of the FMW Torn To Shreds DVD the other day (got it for $5 at fye)... the Kudo/Shark barbed wire match was sick and amazing.

To be perfectly honest - and I know I risk sounding like a shill by saying this - CHIKARA is pretty much the only thing keeping highly interested in wrestling right now. Sure, I'll tune into RAW every now and then. And may keep that frequency up once Chris Jericho returns. But I will agree that everything else just seems to uninteresting and unappealing, almost not worth turning the TV on.

Until Jericho is back on my television screen, the indies are the only thing really keeping my interest in the business going. Chikara, of course, but also ROH and IWA: MS, and I have a distinct interest in getting into PWG.

This is the thing, straight-up good boxers will get beat by MMA fighters almost always because really boxing is only one aspect of fighting and many boxers are ignorant to other fighting styles, and will let them get the takedowns.

Actually, I've had a renewed passion in some ways. This board really refreshed things for me.

I usually just leave the TV shows on and just sit on the computer and don't watch too closely but i still watch. I still find the PPVs interesting though they usually have some good matches on them.

I still like it, all the shows at least usually have a segment, a match, skit or interview I enjoy. All I ask really, to be even moderately entertained for the duration of the show. I'm not that exacting. As such, I still dig it.

Perhaps I'm getting older, I dunno. If I had to choose, I guess the Jericho thing has me interested, but that's it.

I'm getting so burned out that even watching old matches from the 70's and 80's doesn't keep my interest anymore. Man, I miss kayfabe and being a semi-believer.

I don't know that its age necessarily as I'm a few years older than you as it is from my perspective even if a show is mostly crap, there's usually like I said bare minimum a cool spot or interview or some odd that keeps my interest enough to tune in. I just like wrestling, even when it's really bad it's still pretty good if nothing else for the same reason people watch Ed Wood movies or Mystery Science Theater. When it's great it's great, when it's horrible, it's hilarious. But that's just my viewpoint.

I actually think that, other than Hornswoggle and Coach, WWE hasn't been bad TV lately. They at least know to leave Diva Search to a bare minimum.
