Except Vince can 1.) Wrestle. And 2.) Is actually an established and believable character, and *gasps* brings ratings. And Cena wasn't pinned cleanly. Sting wasn't either, but atleast Federline didn't get one of the company's top belts for it.
So cutting his way out of the ring and dragging Abyss under ala-Freddy Krueger wasn't stupid enough for you?
Uh, because some idiot online says so? Just because "TEH WWE IS WORSTZ!" doesn't make the angle any less retarded. Hell, I actually consider this to be dumber than the Dominic storyline. Atleast that had some good matches come out of it.

So I cannot understand the mindset of someone who thinks TNA is dumb, but can sit through a WWE broadcast. I don't know anyone who can do this in my real life. As I've said over and over again, TNA is becoming more like WWE, which is why I will quit if they don't go back in the other direction. Uh, because some idiot online says so? No, because I say so. First Hollywood gave me HIS opinion on which company is better, now I'm respoding with mine. It comes from me. And the guy I quoted actually agrees with Hollywood and yourself, so you probably shouldn't consider him an 'idiot.' Like I've said over and over -- being better than WWE isn't good enough for my time and money. I don't want to watch lame badly acted skits with my free time. And Vince isn't a wrestler. He's no different than Pacman in the ring. |

Of course the WWE is stupid, but atleast they have the decency to not try and persuade me that they're not. I can sit through a WWE broadcast because it's what I expect of them - when I hear from TNA that they're the 'alternative' to the WWE, I expect something different. If I want bull**** sports-entertainment, I'll watch the WWE - because they atleast know what they're doing most of the time.
But I don't agree with the guy you quoted, and this "but the WWE..." stuff is just counter-productive.
Except Vince can wrestle on camera. And draw ratings. So, uh, you might actually say they're different. Complete opposites even.

Smacking myself in the face with a cinder block would be better. If you reread the conversation we started from a narrow discussion with Hollywood saying Raven was used better in WWE than in TNA which a lot of people, including myself thought was an incredibly silly statement. He's not even willing to standby it now. Then he reiterated his believe that WWE is much better than the competition and I reiterated my belief in the opposite. Not once in the last year have I sat through a bad impact or crappy TNA ppv and said, "Well at least I wasn't watching WWE!" and then feel better. When I waste my time on a bad impact or ppv, I feel cheated. And they need to fire Russo so I don't feel like that again. Except Vince can wrestle on camera. And draw ratings. So, uh, you might actually say they're different. Complete opposites even. No, the complete opposite of Pacman would be AJ Styles. A great guy with talent who is a credit to the business. And yes, Vince draws ratings. I will never understand why, but it's a fact I cannot deny. I also don't understand how people can watch game shows, reality tv or listen to rap CDs, but millions of people do all of those things everyday. I'm still powerless to see the appeal. That's life. |

It really was an awesome fued. Raven's interview about how his feud with Punk reminded him of his feud with Tommy in ECW, except now he was on the losing end, was great. And Punk's interviews about how Raven destroyed people's lives while he was out to save them were always fantastic.

I typed "christopher daniels" into the search field, and the Raven/Daniels vs. Punk/Cabana didn't show up....
Am I doing something wrong? (I'm just trying to find additional videos, and it seems I may be skipping some via the search.)
Can someone help me out?

About Raven in ROH, the way I heard about Ring of Honor was through Raven. So I think Raven was ROH's biggest help and it's first step to getting the recognition it has now.
What's funny is CM Punk actually thinks that he was a huge star before he feuded with Raven. I don't know, I never heard of CM Punk until I heard of him feuding with Raven.
