So I am watching the saturday re-run of TNA Impact...With a mark or two as present company. The Abyss match/segment began and this guy looks at mw with the straightest of faces and says...
"That's the original Kane, right there."
I looked and wanted to argue, but I was intriged to hear his reasoning. He continues...
"He left though, because they weren't giving him enough money. So they got the current Kane and took of the mask."
I allowed him to continue in his illusion...
f***ing marks...

You could have been talking to the second Ultimate Warrior! I work with a guy who SWEARS UP AND DOWN there were two Warriors. I seriously dont understand how this myth got started. Yeah when Warrior came back from one of his bitch-fits/walkouts whatever, he was a LITTLE smaller with shorter hair, but, jesus christ, I was like 10 and I knew it was the same guy, come on. |

I think the confusion comes from the fact that the original plan for Abyss was for him to be a genetic fusing of Mankind and Kane called "Mankane".
Plans for Mankane were scrapped due to copyright issues, so the character's name was changed to Abyss.

People saying there has ever been more than on Kane STOMPS all over my nerves. I've also had people swear up and down to me that there have been two Undertakers. (Not referring to the SummerSlam 94 Underfaker) |

(Not referring to the SummerSlam 94 Underfaker) Before I was an internet Junkie I remember reading that back in 1999 where were 2 undertakers one was used for promos and one did matches. I believed it for about a month. |
