Well, the original match has been changed, by popular demand of the Chikara fans, and now no longer includes Quack and Jigsaw, instead, it's a rematch from September's show stealing match, as Up In Smoke takes on Jimmy "Jam" Olsen, and Colin Olsen, The Olsen Twins.



New match announced, and it's not one that fits with the "young vs. (relatively) old" theme of New Star Navigation. Claudio Castagnoli continues his one man war on the Kings of Wrestling stable by taking on the mouth of the outfit, "Sweet'n'Sour" Larry Sweeney. Will Claudio get his revenge?

I like that Ophidian can be made decently in SvR games because of his "face" looking similar to Jushin Liger's.

The first official match has been announced, and this one is a doozy, ladies and gentlemen. It's a battle between the team of Mike Quackenbush and Jigsaw, or, if you will, QuackSaw taking on Cheech and Cloudy, those crazy Jamaicans that call themselves Up In Smoke. Will UIS get their second tag team title shot point, or will QuackSaw put a point on the board?

And how are UIS un-established guys, as I udnerstand the show theme is unestablished guys vs established guys. Cheech and Cloudy are established, aren't they? Title shot, around for quite some time. I don't get this match. But it will still be awesome, and assuming Incoherence win the titles, UIS vs Incoherence would be very fun, especially if Cheech and Cloudy dressed up as Deliriouscito and Hallowickedcito again. Wackiness would abound.

I've been thinking about that actually. If Cheech and Cloudy win, they've still got 1 point to earn. If Incoherence wins, they're probably gonna go unchallenged for a bit, because aside from the Thomaselli's, i don't think anyone else has two points yet. And if it has to be Incoherence vs. Incoherencecito for Los Campeonatos De Parejas, I SAY SO BE IT!!!!!!

NEW MATCH ANNOUNCED, and this one should be good. Contrary to the theme of the event, two veterans are gonna face off in a match of Kings(Of Wrestling), as Claudio Castagnoli, continuing his one man war on the KOW takes on "Sweet'n'Sour" Larry Sweeney, one of the brains behind the organization. Will Claudio get his revenge, or will Sweeney take the Most Money Making Man down a peg?

I'm a little trepidatious about this one. Claudio'll be great, but I've heard that Sweeney was the low point of the Cibernetico, and that he looked a little out of shape and got blown up really quickly. I hope that doesn't affect this match.

Even if Sweeney is out of shape Claudio will carry it to a good match, and an otu of shape Sweneey is still more than competent IMO.

Rey de Voladores, Max Overdraft and Negative Balance all arrived today in the mail and I just got done watching Hero/Claudio from Voladores. Claudio has impressed me once again and made my opinion of him rise even more, I have no doubt he can pull out a good match at NSN, even if Sweeney is overweight.

Here are the results, a bit late, but better than never (Credit to The Nude Smurf at the www.chikarafans.com forums):

Attendance is 40-ish. PJ Drummond is reffing tonight in place of Sabato. Brodie Lee is added to the veteran squad, replacing Akuma. Six singles matches and one tag match, with random drawing by the upperclassmen for the match order. Incoherence gets the tag match.

Parejas Incredibles: Ultramantis Black and Shane Storm vs Hydra and Jigsaw

Hydra came out to "Rehab", so fantastic. This is already too confusing, but in a fun way. Odd to see them tag in the "right" guy. Mantis attempted to win with the FINGERPOKE OF DOOM~!, but Jigsaw broke it up. Jigsaw pins Shane Storm after a nasty superkick.

Crossbones vs Soldier Ant

A certain ant is getting the crap stiffed out of him tonight. Soldier Ant wins a decent match after a diving headbutt.

Icarus vs Donst - STIFF. Donst wins with Chikara Special. Donst got
whipped into the wall, leaving a huge hole in the wall. Donst is OVER.
Great match.

Brodie Lee vs Worker Ant - Brodie wins the Liger Bomb QUICK. Ant got
squashed LOL

Osirian Portal vs Incoherence - I seem to have service now, I'll see
if this works. If not, more e-mail.

More e-mail, it is. This is the night of breaking the kids into the
bidness, as Incoherence is killing the Portal with chops. Hallowicked
pins Amasis after the Graveyard Smash, but Amasis DID kick out of
Shadows Over Hell. Good match.

YLC Defense: Chuck Taylor vs Helios - Helios is a young, masked dark-
skinned man with long, straightened hair...Chuck insists it's
Ricochet, but I'm not sure. HELIOS WINS! After a move that looked very
similar to Ricochet's Chocolate Rain and a running SSP.
