A tourney. I guess I'm spoiled by the excitement of wrestling buildups. Don't get me wrong, I love MMA, but certain things aren't possible that they can pull off in wrestling, build up and feud wise. a falser statement has never been said. i get more hyped up over MMA feuds than wrestling fueds nowadays. hardly ever is it just 2 guys who are fighting each other for no reason. almost every ppv this year has had a STORY involved in it. its awesome

I hate Sylvia but he does deserve a shot at the title. I think Andrei Arlovski should get a chance to be champ too, also you have Gonzaga and Kongo. A tournament would be cool. I'd like to see Brock Lesnar as champ but he still has a long way to go. Seriously? He has more than a long way to go. He hasn't had a single UFC match yet. I'd rather see the Tim "the lazy boy" Sylvia have it again, at least he has in the past had a few decent matches.

I don't know why people are saying Brock deserves to be in the title picture. One fight against a lackluster fighter and he gets a title shot in the biggest promotion in the world? No way. As far as the Maine-Iac goes, sure people don't like him but he's proven himself. Sure he's had boring fights but who hasn't? He's also had a couple of great fights that a lot of people don't think about and he is coming off a win against Brandon Vera who if he had beaten Tim would've been next in line for the title.

Open Battle Royale. I mean completly open. Anyone can join. Even untrained fighters. As long as they meet the weight requirement. Decided however UFC normaly does.

You can disagree with it, but to say it's false would be a fallacy. Sorry, a bit of a pet peeve.

I'd support a tourny, it would only take a few months if they did a few fights per PPV, and I think it would really interest the fans. For my tourny I'd go with: Tim Silvia, who cares if he's boring, he wins fights, that's what matters. Gabriel Gonzaga, Still in the title hunt and still dangerous. Andrei Arlovski, remember the Pit Bull? It's been awhile since he's done anything big but he's still in the hunt. Antonio Nogueria- just beat Heath Herring, still unknown, but would be one of the favorites in the tournament. Cheick Kongo can brawl so why the hell not? Carmelo Marrero beat Cheick Kongo so he's earned his way in. I guess we can put Cro Cop in so he can get his butt kicked by someone. And the great surprise of the tourny, Anderson Silva gains a pound and proves he's the best fighter in the world.

I don't think UFC is in any hurry to do something about the Heavyweight title. I think Dana White is probably hoping that Couture returns. If he stripped him of the belt there's no chance he comes back.
