Does anybody know approximately how many times Kenta Kobashi has used the Burning Hammer? Since it's his rare finisher that he only uses once in a great while, I'm curious to know how many times he's used it and against whom.

Not sure, but do you mean just the Hammer, or do we lump in the Wrist Clutch version?

The answer to any Kobashi question is "As many times as he wants." The only man you should doubt less than El Dandy is Kenta Smurfin' Kobashi.

I would guess less than a dozen, to be honest. It's a rare move.

Let's see.
The first one ever on Misawa of course. The Wrist Clutch one was used on KENTA and Taue in NOAH matches. I think I remember seeing him use it on Akiyama. And he used it when he beat Misawa for the GHC in 2003.
So, roughly 4-5 times.

Didn't he also use it on Stan Henson 4-5 times (In one match)?

You're not referring to me, are you? No, just people who use the move all the time, cheapening it, and risking their health in front of 4 people for $12.50 a show.

I'm kinda surprised. I've ALWAYS associated the Burning Hammer to Kobashi, and he's only used it a few times? Wow.
