I read somewhere that he has a foot injury. I may be wrong, but isn't this his 3rd injury in less then a year? It was the fall that almost killed him, something else, then this injury. He's like ROH's Ashley, well, except instead of getting injured because of inexperience, he gets injured because he's crazy.
I like the Briscoe Brothers, but do you think Mark needs to tone his style down a bit, before you know, he kills himself, or ends up in a wheel chair. I feel at the rate he's going now, he'll definitely be out of wrestling in a few years, and Mark's a tremendous talent, so I don't want that to happen. But do you think Gabe should step up and say to Mark, tone it down.

Nah. Mark is crazy and that's why people love him. Having him "tone it down" would most likely turn away business for ROH. It's not like he's getting big injuries that are life threating it's just dumb small things. His foot injury isn't even from wrestling, he wrecked his bike while driving it at excessive speeds. The only thing that really freaked me out was sitting second row and when he jumped outside and smashed his head really hard. That freaked everyone out.

Well, wouldn't that injury be life threatening, the one where he almost ended his career?

Well, wouldn't that injury be life threatening, the one where he almost ended his career? Wasn't life threating. People have wrestled after worse. CM Punk I think was never supposed to step in a ring again after he cracked his skull.

Well, in all honesty, its all relative. Should Mick Foley have toned it down during his Cactus Jack years? Should Sabu have cooled off? Of course they should have. But they didn't. They wrestled the style that worked for them, just like Mark does. I don't really know what makes them keep with their style (well, it made them money would probably be up on the list), but its how they work(ed). Of course, the problem is they'll all have to reap what they sowed. But using the same mentality as Sabu or Cactus Jack or whoever, Mark probably won't stop doing what he's doing.

But do you think Gabe should step up and say to Mark, MAN UP!!!!!!!Fixed. Seriously, though, I do worry that the guy is going to pull a Hayabusa one day...he doesn't need to be so crazy in his aerials, just tone it down so he's on tandem with Jay, and he should be alright. He knows the risks, and he knows how painful it can get, so I'm sure he'll be alright if he's still pulls a few crazy spots now and then.

He doest need to tone it down, not for health sake either, I like Briscoes as a team but as a Singles team they're a 99 CAW, aka they have ALL big moves, which is odd, most wrestlers get flamed by the IWC for that but somehow the Briscoes dont.

Considering that they are claiming they are going to leave wrestling in the next two years, I say let Mark go balls out until that happens.

If the Briscoes are honest about not wanting to wrestle for long (i.e. retiring before they're 30, as has been hinted at in some places), then I guess Mark deserves a chance to go all out.
That said, there are times I wish he'd tone it down, if just because I don't want to sit through as many matches thinking "JESUS, is Mark ok?!" He's talented enough to get by without doing that.

He's a big boy. Let him do what he wants and deal the consequences... And there will be consequences.

Some of the stuff Mark does is over-the-top I think. As said before, he doesn't need to push the envelope as far as he does on occasion.

I would cut down on the number of Shooting star presses since he has botched those quite a number of times but I don't know. Only he can really decide what's too much, although wrestlers themselves aren't always the best when it comes to medical opinion
