From Bret Hart's book:
The Funks let me referee a couple of nights, and they even threw me into a couple of job matches with a big Japanese guy named Tetsuo Sekigawa and a local named Dennis Stamp. I attempted to throw a punch to Stamp's gut but accidentally smashed him in the groin. A lot of wrestlers would have been angry, but Dennis forgave me for my greenness and gave me a good match.
I bet it was a groin injury the likes you've never seen in your whole life!

Imagine in some other alternate universe, Stamp got pissed, yelled at Bret backstage and discouraged him from continuing his wrestling career, I wonder what WWE would be like today.

Stamp would have taken Bret's place in history. When it came time for the Montreal screwjob, Stamp would snap Michaels in half and keep the belt, which he would still hold to this day. McMahon would try time and time again to screw him out of the title but he'd never be able to outsmart Stamp. When that man is booked, he's really on his game. |

Just imagine, we could of seen the feud for the ages, McMahon vs. Stamp. McMahon tries to screw Stamp Baby outta' the title time and time again, and Stamp plays the babyface that doesn't give into the evil boss....
It's times like this that I kick myself for not savin' my photoshop'd pic of Mt. Stamp-More....

Hmm..... doesnt that kinda cancel out bret's whole I never injured anybody in my career schtick. I'd probably be injured if I got smashed in the groin during a match.
