Do you think that the Tick Tock diner will play host to Misawa this weekend?
Will he go in and challenge Morishima to a hamburger eating contest?
Also, have any matches other than Claudio/Marafuji; Kenta/Misawa been announced?

Only one other match has been announced (Morishima v. the loser of Aries/Danielson the night before) because ROH is waiting on Nigel's status before they book anything.
Anyway...I'd love to see Misawa in the Tick Tock.

I saw that there was a Tick Tock right next to the Manhatten Center in NYC. I would hope it is better than the overrated New Jersey landmark, on route 3.

Eh, it's Diner food.
The only attraction there is that the ROH guys always go there afterwards.
Respect is Earned finished, my friends and I all went into the tick tock and Whitmer was already finishing his last french fry on his 2 plates of food.
I thought guys weren't supposed to leave, is BJ just sad because he's a JOB guy?

If it's a three hour show and you're on first, why bother sitting around to do nothing for 2+ hours? Plus when you take into account occassions in which people wrestle for two companies in one night (which does happen), not being allowed to leave would make life very hard on a few guys. IIRC from Death of WCW, Bill Watts had a habit of making everyone stick around at WCW shows when he was booking, and it's one of the reasons he got fired so quickly.

He made everyone stick around because it's respectful and shows you care about the show. Didn't Carlito legit get chewed out by like everyone up and down the roster because he was leaving early and they turned it into an angle with Flair? I mean, it's not like he was with family, he left early and was eating like a f'n pig at Tick Tock. I'm an internet fan, I'm better than him by default.

And as far as I'm aware, the reason Carlito got chewed out is because his lack of caring was everywhere...he clearly wasn't trying in the ring...he was moving slower than people twice his age...he was kvetching about his spot...he was sad because he was a face. And I've always thought that putting on the best match possible when you're in the ring is the biggest sign that you care about the show. From everything I've ever heard about the business, if you want to leave a show after you're done, you can without punishment. That said, there's nothing wrong with sticking around to watch other matches.

To me wrestlers should stick around after there match, it would be like a pitcher not showing up to a base ball game because he wasnt starting, or a starter leaving after he was pulled from the game.

its a little different with indy wrestling though. Like already mentioned, some guys work for multiple companies a night. And even the guys who don't, they're all independant contractors, unlike the examples with Carlito and baseball players, who are signed exclusively with their respective organizations. That would be like an electrician staying around at a new house until the final shingle is put on the roof.
But thats just my take.

The whole locker room saw the opening match wrestlers work, it's just more respectful to stay until the main event. Especially because the main eventers usually draw the crowd that put that cash in your pocket that night. I don't think they have to stay, I just see it as a sign of respect.

It could have just been fact of Gabe going backstage and saying "Hey, if you guys want you can head over to Tick Tock if you want. Here's your pay. You might want to get out before it becomes a mad house". Or maybe BJ is just a dickhead.

Or maybe they told him to leave because nobody wants BJ around.

I'd want BJ around. I'd really like to just shoot the breeze with him. I've been a fan of his since mid-2005.
