I was considering buying Total Extreme Wrestling 2007, and I was wondering if there's a way to buy a second hand license/copy.
And anyway, is it possible selling the license to a third part, should I grow tired of the game?
Last thing: I got bored with EWR in a matter of weeks... should I avoid spending money on its "big brother"?

There are certain ways you can obtain the game. You can a free demo from the EWR inventory site I believe.

I don't know what reasons you didn't like EWR, but if you didn't than I would pass on TEW...it's WAY more tedious and not as much fun...

I don't know what reasons you didn't like EWR, but if you didn't than I would pass on TEW...it's WAY more tedious and not as much fun... I didn't like EWR because after three months [in-game time] I kinda felt it was all about clicking on "next" and idly booking matches... It lacked a sense of "accomplishment, so to speak. I once was a huge fan of management-games, but now I haven't much time to dedicate to games, and anyway I don't feel like playing for hours anymore. I played the demo of TEW, and I thought the more in-depth booking and creation of gimmicks/storylines could improve the feeling of EWR. So to speak I'm looking for a compromise between boredom by repetitiveness and boredom by overcomplication...

I felt the same way about ewr for a while. I then started getting into it and actually writing the shows (kinda), have actual storylines, and so on. The EWR players here at WC have a site to post anything and everything about our games, most of us keep up diaries there, documenting our storylines and so on, so it isnt completely pointless.

TEW was almost too much for me you could say, it took forever just to book one show and was a pain the butt to update...but I got it for free, and now I only play EWR as it's much easier to run and less of an overall pain... If you can get it for free or for less than the 30 bucks new, then go for it...but I wouldn't buy the full version if you don't think you'll totally be into it...

I like TEW way way more than EWR. EWR is too basic for me after playing the TEW games.
But I also can't imagine paying that much money for it. Especially with that stupid eLicense thing.
Anyway, yeah you can sell it. I'm not sure if theres a big demand for it though. Basically you'd just de-license it from your computer, and let whoever buys it from you have the code thing.
