Hi. I don't post here often, but if anyone in the Chicago area could help me out I'd appreciate it.
My girlfriend lives in Chicago & I'm visiting her for a few days [November 15-18]. She just started a new job, so on a few days, I have absolutely nothing to do...
So I'm trying to find some indy shows on those days moderately close to her apartment. She's right off of Michigan Avenue, so if anybody knows of any shows, please let me know.
Thanks in advance.
Edit: I apparently suck at spelling. Title fixed.

Looks like only show near chicago on those days is PCW in Midlothian (same building IWA-MS runs) on the south side of Chicago (note the chicago prowrestling board has 5 shows listed for that weekend but none in the chicagoland area).

thanks for the info. i've been looking for a few and none seem incredibly close, but if i have 8 or so ours to kill, i'm sure i can hop a train. if anyone know of any other shows though, please let me know.
i just saw jerry lynn at the IWR Revolucha 4 show. wouldn't mind seeing him again.

yeah indy wrestling here in Chicago is tough. We have a ton of feds around here but they all like to backstab and make sure the other fed fails. That's why you'll see a lot of them hold shows on the same day to divide the crowd and whatnot. I should know. I wrestle for a couple of feds in Chicago. It's really sad. Talking to several "promoters" I walk away shaking my head cause they would rather hurt another promotion then have theirs be a success. But I guess that's how it is everywhere.

If you don't mind me asking, what feds do you wrestle for?

Unfortunately it's not next weekend you're looking for. The Hammond (IN) Civic Center is hosting a lucha libre show next weekend.
Hammond's pretty easy to get to using the South Shore.
