For the Backstage interviews. You could still hold up the regular mike but sometimes someone is talking and the interviewer isn't all that quick on the pick up and you don't hear what was said.

I kind of like it that way.. it's a little touch of reality and that "live feeling".

TNA needs to invest into better camera men, better editing bays, better producers, and better directors.
their biggest fault is their production values and presentation.

I really hate to tempt fate and introduce a Russo-ism here, but it seems a bit too "Crash TV" in the editing style. It looks out of date.

Also, everything seems too "bright" for a show about fighting and whatnot. One of the biggest complaints I get from people is that it looks "cheesy and kiddy".

TNA needs to invest in a financial adviser who will tell them what a bad idea it is to pick up people like Pacman Jones, Junior Fatu & Black Reign!

Why waste money on silly stuff like that when we can have Michael Vick come in and work some matches for us?!?

The mic issue isn't so bad, but the editing and the constant missing of interesting things by the cameramen is inexcusable.
Also, it kept happening this week: during a single ten second rest hold, you'd literally see nine different camera angles.

Also, the fact that the camera is ALWAYS shaking on backstage segments. Feels like I'm on a boat or something.

They kept showing shots of that waste of money Jake Roberts! They missed Abyss crashing off the stage onto Brother Runt in order to show us a shot of a useless crackhead standing in the middle of the ring doing nothing! Way to go monkey's in the truck! Didn't they also miss Abyss tapping to the Ankle Lock & Pacman Jones pinning Sting at a PPV earlier this year too?

That have to prove they're different from WWE in ways besides the 6-sided ring. It's very action packed, and in your face. I like it. But boom mikes, yes. Get on that.

Get on that. I know what they're going for, but it doesn't really work; you need to allow your audience to get a focus point, and you can do that without sacrificing pacing. Were I in charge there, I'd change that (I don't mind that they use so many camera angles, I mind that they CONSTANTLY jump back and forth from one to another, with no time to look at anything for more than a couple seconds), I'd change Tenay and West speaking to the audience like we're a bunch of morons ("GET A LOAD OF THIS! THE MONSTER ABYSS JUST ATTACKED BLACK REIGN!" WE CAN SEE IT, YOU JERKS) or talking over promos more than just occasionally, and I'd just in general let the audience "breathe" a little more. There's often a big pull apart brawl on Impact, or a match with a celebration afterwards that gets NO air time. That's not bad all of the time (gotta move things along when you've only got one weekly show), but it hurts things occasionally.

I just wish they would turn up the speakers during entrances, it's like I can hear everything BUT the entrance themes.

Name a price and I'll make you a good offer....

They need a cameraguy for promos who'll stand still with the camera and not keep moving it around like he's drunk. It looks like they're filming on a boat. Very dizzying.

Yeah, they don't give the audience time to let what just happened sink in. It goes from one thing to the next the whole show, and it just gives me a headache. Really, TNA could have an absolutely amazing show with great characters and storylines, but they rush everything and confuse the viewers. I know they were pushed for time with one hour, but now TNA have too, there is no reason to rush anything. Then again, with Kurt Angle having six or seven backstage and in-ring segments a week, they're right back having no time to build-up their other talents.
