I remember way back in 1992 Yokozuna was scheduled to face a Mystery Opponent at Survivor Series. It turned out to be Virgil. Now come on, was that the real plan or did someone else bail out?

Probably not. I mean, what would make you want to buy a PPV even more? Yokozuna vs. Virgil or Yokozuna vs. Mystery Opponent? I mean, it could have been anybody!

Probably the Warrior.
We know all the Warrior's post SummerSlam-92 WWE career went.

Virgil makes sense to me. He was a well-known face and an ideal pick to be squashed by the new monster heel. He even did the same thing at SummerSlam 3 months earlier.

Probably the Warrior. We know all the Warrior's post SummerSlam-92 WWE career went. Highly unlikely, because Warrior was scheduled to team with Randy Savage as the Ultimate Maniacs and take on Ric Flair and Razor Ramon. (not sure if you were serious or not)

ahh SS92, my first wrestling tape purchase. I must have watched it 100000 times as a kid. I'll always remember Virgil in his post match interview with Lord Alfred Hayes saying "Yokozumma"
