He's retiring...like an Anderson!
From PWMania.com:
ECW superstar CW Anderson has surprisingly announced his retirement today in a phone call conversation. It is believed that Anderson wants to focus on his new job outside of the business as well as spend more time with his family, reports Mike Johnson. Anderson stated, "I'm done. It's over. I won't be taking any additional bookings."

Bummer. It was too bad that he got injured when the New ECW started up. It was nice to see him on TV again (For the one match he was there...)
I wish him the best in his future endeavours...

Karl the Machine Gun Anderson is still wrestling Yes, but does he have the approval of the original Andersons, like CW had?

too bad KK changed his name. He could claim to be the last Anderson... Anderson.

CW was never a 'legit' Anderson - he's of a different bloodline, but still an outstanding wrestling. THat having been said, it's a shame he won't be wrestling anymore, but I truly wish nothing but the best for him.

The rest just looked similar

Ole just gave the approval to CW, although Ole was never related to anyone; nor were Arn, Gene, or Lars.

Really makes you think. I always just took for granted that Arn was really Ole's nephew, until fairly recently when I read his book and found out he wasn't. Even still, until this very thread I still thought Ole and Gene were related, and Lars too. Kayfabe lives!

I wonder who's going to take his spot. Are you talking about his liver spot or his dog Spot?

I remember hearing C.W. Anderson had some physical problems stemming from diabetes that caused him to retire a year or so ago. Thankfully, he seems to be healthier and able to find a job doing something else. I liked him quite a bit in ECW.
