people don't like black reign. these are the normal responses as to why. 1. he is fat 2. face paint and an outfit comprised of two colors!? must be a goldust rip off! 3. he can't wrestle a pure technical match or do much highflying so he must suck. It is claerly a Goldust ripoff... Now that he has gaines some weight I want to see him in some polka-dots doing a son of American Dream gimmick |

Goldust was a stand alone character obsessed with films & gold, was into mindgames, and also being very weird and dressing up like other wrestlers. Then he was a good guy who was freaky. Black Reign is part of Dustin's mind, some dark part of his mind that he let out. He attacks people with a weapon(Darkness Falls) and talks to a rat. They are not the same character. The only similarities between the 2 are that they are characters dressed in a jumpsuit & a painted up face portrayed by Dustin Rhodes. It's like saying Mankind was a ripoff of Cactus Jack. |

Black Reign is a decent gimmick. The problem is that Dustin Rhodes is too fat to play the part and is f***ing terrible in the ring now. He does give good promos and sells the gimmick, but he definitely does not deliver in the ring.
