OK I've just watched this video of The Giant squashing Horshu (a/k/a Luther Reigns) on WCW Worldwide. But after watching it, I'm confused...
(1) Who in the blue hell is that commentating with Tenay?
(2) When did Worldwide's set get changed to the set up here? I don't remember it looking like that ever and it looks completely bad ass.

If you could perhaps elaborate on how the guy looks, as it's hard to tell exactly who you mean in the absence of a video. If he has glasses, then I assume you're talking about Chris Cruise, who did the WCW Pro shows at the time.
I assume you mean the set where it's all black, I think this was in the summer of 1997 when they made the change.

Oh, that's Lee Marshall, who did Thunder with Schiavone and Heenan. Also known for the 1-800-Collect Road Reports allegedly being at a Nitro party watching Nitro every week from the location the show would be at the following week. EDIT: Nice dropkick by The Giant, BTW.

That's Lee Marshall, who, no joke, has been doing the voice overs for Tony the Tiger in Frosted Flakes commercials.

Never heard of him- but then again I don't think we had Worldwide or Thunder in the UK at that point. I love this Worldwide set, it's awesome. Just makes me miss WCW that little bit more.

That's Lee Marshall, who, no joke, has been doing the voice overs for Tony the Tiger in Frosted Flakes commercials. Lee Marshall has a radio show at a local radio station where I live. Plays mostly oldies and calls himself the Boomer. When he makes apperances hes always signing boxes of Frosted Flakes and usually gets Diamond Dallas Page to appear with him.

That Worldwide set was pretty cool looking. It looks like a nightclub or something. A nightclub with Lee Marshall as the DJ.
