In Nash's shoot he said he would love to comentate for TNA, there is NO doubt in my mind Kevin would help the show immensely if he replaced Don West because we all know one of the biggest complaits of TNA is the screaming and yelling for the entire two hours.
Your thoughts?

Nash was brilliant on commentary during his run with the PCS/X Division. Id love it.

That's not a bad idea.
If you want to keep Don West on the payroll, have him shill TNA merchandise in 60-second segments or something.

The only problem with that is the fact that Nash is very low-key and sometimes monotone as an announcer. While I don't like West's constant overhyping and overselling, the announce team has to sound interested and excited. Nash never did, any of the times I heard him commentate.
I'd rather see Shane Douglas as the heel commentator.

Keep West around to do interviews and shill merch with insane deals. "A JEFF JARRETT ROOKIE CARD!!!"

That's a good point, but there are two other things to consider when comparing Solie's delivery to Nash's: 1) The action in the ring is more geared towards "HOLY S**T" moments nowadays, so the announcers' excitement is more required to help sell the moves; 2) Wrestling fans now have a shorter attention span and less patience than when Solie was behind the mic. A toned-down announcer would easily bore the viewers.

Give Don West some caffeine.
Nobody'd have to worry about him anymore.

I'd rather Nash replace Mike Tenay.

Whatever the case, TNA needs a Heel commentator.

Whatever the case, TNA needs a Heel commentator. I vote Shane Douglas or Raven. Nash should go back to working with the X Division, or be handler to a newly-turned heel Chris Harris.

Raven wouldn't be a bad choice. I think Douglas is out of wrestling altogether now, though. Nash managing a heel Harris would help him immensely.

I would laugh if they switched Don and Kevin, and Kevin could do color, and Don could be Angle's lackey.
My only issue with Kev on the mic is that he's much too laconic sometimes to be doing color work. Save for some short anger bursts that he's had lately, he sometimes seems to me like he's becoming the Dude of professional wrestling.

SCOTT D'AMORE WOULD BE THE PERFECT HEEL COMMENTATOR SINCE HE WAS GREAT AT SPEAKING FOR TEAM CANADA AND TALKING TRASH!!!!
YES!!! YES!!! YES!!!! YES!!! YES!!!!
Edit: I am one of those not in favor of dumping West. Tenay needs to play a stright-man, West will be the happy babyface, while Nash/D'Amore/or anyone else would make the perfect counter-balance against the two of them. I don't like crybaby Tenay who once said, "Jim Cornette can't talk to me that way!"

Nash makes me laugh, he really does. And I- unlike others- don't have an issue with his Dude-like demeanour.
The only issue I have is that I'm not sure Nash would put over the talent on a consistant enough basis. That's one of the things JBL has done so well since he became a Commentator. He's a great heel color guy, but he puts talent over at the same time. Hell, I swear he's got a rocket in his pocket for Chuck Palumbo the amount of praise he gives him.
Whatever the case, GET RID of Don West! The guy is the most annoying commentator of all time.

You know, Kevin as part of a three man team wouldn't be a bad idea. Just not with Don AND Tenay. You need to replace once, at least.
