Anyone know if Raw II was any good? If not, maybe one of the Legends of Wrestling games. Those are likely at least passable.

No, not even close.
The Raw games were so horrible, and I can't even imagine trying to play their awful combat system after the brilliance of the last few Smackdown games.

I don't remember much of the raw games... they were pretty bad. Though I did love the nonsensicalness of the storyline mode... my friend randomly had his character focus on one person I think it was goldberg and just randomly attacked him constantly. They never had a match... or any other kind of interaction except when they had one tag match... as partners  And another time my character dropped A SAFE on someone walking down the hall... |

Raw and Raw 2 are awesome.
Anytime you can use a fish as a weapon or put on different hats that are on the ground you have an awesome game.

I remembered another flaw.
if anyone ran in, it was always ALWAYS in your favor in single player or player 1's in multi.
Even if the game has you listed as enemies

The Raw games were really fun. You could go outside during the royal rumble, multiplayer season mode with interactive stories, change a wrestlers ring gear. Raw 2 was especially awesome |
