What happened to the Disco revival?

TNA got me all excited that Disco Inferno was making a comeback. But much like disco music itself, it seems that it's gone never to return.

Barring the chance that Disco is going to be Sting's partner, it seems that we have probably seen the last of him. Unless anyone here knows something that I do not, like maybe he got injured or something.

It was basically a tie-in with "The Comebacks" movie that TNA was advertising.

The movie spoofs sports films and Disco's "comeback" was basically a squash and stop. In other words, he served his purpose and is done for now.

Seriously, he was just there as a movie tie-in for a movie that no one saw? That sucks. Why must they toy with my emotions like that? I actually like Disco and thought that he would be a great addition, even if it was just as a comedy jobber. He's always been a comedy character so I didn't have a problem with it.
