I can't remember if it's a Public Domain song or not, because I know I've heard it outside of WWF/WWE TV before (just like some other older wrestling themes). I'm not much of Booker T fan, but I'd mark if when Sting announces his partner on Sunday we get to hear: "This this... No no..." Or whatever the hell the lyrics are. God, I hated the King Booker gimmick...

It would be cool if he could. I think his theme was the only one from WCW that they continued to use for the longest time in the WWE which suggest that they didn't have to pay for it.

I think that TNA might be able to use the song.
As far as I know, that music is not owned by WWE or any other company. They just pay for the rights to use it.

I sure hope so. I loved that music.
Although I would mark if he came out as a version of King Booker.

Booker's theme music is in fact stock music from a production library, and not created by WWE. WWE mixed clips into it such as the "Can You Dig It Sucka" intro, but the song itself can be licensed by TNA if they wanted to.
If I had to make a bet though, I'd bet that TNA will simply come up with their own clone of it where one or two notes are different. Rikishi's "You Look Fly Today" theme from Too Cool was stock music also (which is why WWE ultimately created their own "Turn It Up" theme for them), but TNA instead chose to create their own song that just sounded like it.

I remember a Kids in the Hall skit had the music in it, so I'm pretty sure WWE doesn't own it.

Yeah it was that one guy as the teen diva with the banana...gosh i gotta get me Kids in the Hall DVD sets..
Oh and I think TNA will create their own version of the song, like they did with Rikishi.

I thought it was already confirmed that he'd be known as Emperor Huffman?

I thought it was already confirmed that he'd be known as Emperor Huffman? Booker T. is his real name. And if his theme really is stock, he's DOUBLE lucky.

So if the E do/did own his music. He's still able to shout "Can You Dig It Sucka?" into the mic at the start right?

I don't remember all the details, but I remember Dave Foley played a mustachioed detective and it was one of the KITH sketches I labeled a "In case you didn't realize it yet, Scott Thompson is gay" sketch. ;D

He uses it in PWA with the "Don't hate the playa, hate the game!" intro.
