lately, ever since it's move to spike cause it's time slots have been horrible and add to the fact how confusing everything's been, I just got to ask...
Has Samoa Joe ever won the title yet?
I mean with Russo's "Hey let's give everyone a title change" philosophy, the seemingly never ending fued with Angle, and the rotating mix of main eventers alll mysteriously showing up in the main event, the fact that Abyss has been champion, you'd think Joe would have had the title at some point. I remember Joe and Angle fueding over all the titles a while back.

Joe lost out in that feud and Angle has dominated that scene since, with only a short Sting reign breaking it. Joe`s booking has been poor to say the least, he`s seemingly losing the badass factor, and needs to kill some bitches in traditional Joe style to re-establish himself.

Nope.
He did hold the Tag Team, and X Division at the same time on his own, at the same time (yes, Samoa Joe was the TNA Tag Team Champions) but then he lost them all to Angle.

He's getting it back lately, largely thanks to how the Christian feud was booked. They need to stay consistent with it.

Hopefully, he starts it off by squashing Robert Roode at Genesis.

That's the thing in TNA, guy's don't have "The Batista Code", so when they lose a title match they're put back down the card for other feuds for awhile to build up credibility again.
Joe just went over Christian in a sort of "who's the real champion" feud, and now he's in a revenge feud with Roode. I'm guessing he'll be back at the top in another month or 2 depending on various feuds.

Never, and people bitch about it (unless someone gets injured). TNA tries to keep it fresh by rotating people, and people bitch about it.

I respect the poster for admitting that he hasn't been paying attention to TNA lately.
The board seems to be filled with people who haven't watched lately acting as though they have.
About a month ago on a thread about impact taping spoilers someone asked, "What's with the constant turns? Since when are LAX faces?" I was like, "Since five months ago?"
Kurt Angle has held the world title since Slammiversarry with Sting taking he belt t at Bound For Glory and holding it for two days before Kurt won it back.
I guess TNA just wanted a babyface to win the title at their biggest ppv of the year. Otherwise Kurt's been the most dominant champion since Christian.

I think Joe's still got heat for slagging off TNA booking a while back.
Maybe when Sting retires this year he'll have more of a chance to shine and won't be playing second fiddle to him anymore.

I think Booker is likely going to take Sting's place in TNA as the resident "former WCW Champion face."
I don't want a repeat of Sting, Rhino or Abyss where they have them win the title just to have a 'big moment' and then you blink and the person they won the title from has won it back.
I want Joe's TNA title run to be something special. I only want TNA to give him the belt when they are ready to let him hold it for like six months at least.

I don't want to see Joe as a transitional champion... I want him to be champ with the intention of ushering in a new era when it happens.

The problem with said fans is that they want TNA to be ROH. TNA will never be ROH. TNA isn't going to have the Motor City Machine Guns win the title out of nowhere and hold onto them for a year. TNA is on TV, and they need to fill 2 hours a week every week with something for everyone, and if that means keeping titles away from the IWC's favorites, than so be it.

I think its clear that Joe's eventual title win is being saved for a time when they feel they can use a long reigning face champ. No transitional reigns for him.

The problem was when Abyss won the title, only to lose it a month or so later.

It was two, and pinned Sting clean for one of his defenses. It wasn't nearly as awful as a lot of people make it out to be. It was just the way he won it which was dreadful. And it also led to Christian winning the belt and having a great run with it
