"Stevie came back for one more WCW match (a retirement match) against Scott Steiner in late 2000 and won. He wrestled a few matches for WWA against Ernest Miller in 2002 and then retired to run a garage."
Is it wrong that this made me picture Stevie Ray in a regular one-car garage, but going in it and acting like its a business. I mean to like make the garage run more efficiently, but its just like some junky garage with like old newspapers and a few unsold Harlem Heat action figures in it? Idk, I think I I'm going to hit the hay, I need more sleep and less nyQuil.

I need more sleep and less nyQuil. Less NyQuil? I cannot condone the waste of such a glorious medicine. As for Stevie Ray, as long as he shows up to work looking like this: I'm satisfied.

It's an amusing vision, but it's probably a legit business since if he wasn't doing well, it's not like Booker couldn't bail him out or get him a random job in a wrestling company.

As long as he's got his trusty "Slapjack" with him, I'm cool with it.

I don't know about that. Remember in WCW they didn't always get along. Given WCW's tendency to do worked shoots along with the shoddy programming around that time, in hindsight its tough to tell what was fact and what was fiction. I could just imagine... Booker T: What you telling me you need money for sucka? You don’t let me park my Dodge here and now you asking for money? Stevie Ray: Fruity Bootie, that Dodge was dripping oil all over my garage, can’t have that ‘nconvenience for my business! Booker T: TELL ME YOU DIDN'T JUST SAY THAT! And so on...

you know its weird...
Every month, Booker T's PWA runs shows once a month for year here... and Stevie Ray has yet to be seen at any of the shows.
makes me wonder the relationship between the two.

I remember someone asking Booker about that, and why he didn't get Stevie into WWE. He said basically, "Well, he's retired." Stevie more or less raised him, so I don't think Booker wouldn't appreciate that.

I was under the impression they weren't even really related. Are they?

I can imagine a commercial for Stevie Ray's garage airing on the local network at 3:37AM.
