I should have added a sarcasm tag, since I probably mark harder for Booker than any other wrestler. Sorry, man. Too early in the morning to detect sarcasm for me. Anyway... Booker's here!! WOO! THE MYSTERY TAG PARTNER WASN'T DAVID ARQUETTE!!!

I don't have a problem with Booker T coming to TNA. I do have a problem with Sharmell coming in. She only works when he works heel cause she's a horrible babyface. I will admit I will miss King BOOKAH and JBL's Commentating of him. But I can see why he left WWE and hopefully TNA won't screw this up.

I'm also thrilled that we'll see a proper babyface Booker T again. I could never really get into the WWE's portrayals of him (minus King Booker), because they more often than not made him a heel or a really stupid face, amping up his "sucka-ness" in lieu of the fighting champion from WCW.

Did he use his old theme or something TNA produced for him?

Booker is one ex-WWE signing I'm ok with. I don't mind (in fact i welcome) TNA signing talented guys who leave WWE (Like Booker, Christian and Angle) it's signing the likes of Rikishi and Black Reign I have a problem with when they're taking time on Impact that could be used to build up homegrown stars like the X Division, Samoa Joe or the former members of AMW.

It's also smart on TNA's part because now, if they want, they can probably have a developmental group in Booker's school/promotion.

I didn't think of that but that will be good for TNA when Booker's students are ready they will be getting an influx of new talent that the majority of fans won't have seen beofre. Has anyone been to the PWA shows? Are the students any good?

Booker's a good acquisition for them. Granted, he'd be a lot better for them if they dropped Black Reign, VKM and a few others. As I've suggested before, TNA needs to release one ex-WWE star every time they hire a new one. And I assume Raven is THE exemption to the rule.

Just when I thought I was finally rid of this guy, he signs on to pollute TNA. The man was a drain on WWE, and TNA can't afford another lame WWE washout.

Compared to some of the ex-WWE and WCW guys they have signed there is no way Booker is a washout. Admittedly he isn't as good as he once was and I haven't seen the PPV but from what I've heard he looked good and seemed enthusiastic. He's a good signing for TNA.

Booker T is his real name, so he can use it.
I like Booker and his ring work is still good, so I don't mind seeing him in TNA. He also brings a lot of other advantages to the company, such as his training school and his links to developmental. So, a better sign than many other former WWE stars.

Anyone who thinks this is a bad accquisition isn't thinking straight.
He's the biggest accquisition since Angle, and probably safer for the company than drugged out Angle is. The guy can wrestle. The guy is over. The guy has a fanbase. The guy is marketable. The guy is willing to put people over. The guy has a good mind for the business and can eventually work backstage with TNA, and not be in all for himself. The guy has a wrestling school that not only he can get TNA talent on, he can grow his stars for TNA.
It's the perfect accquisition. Anyone else who disagrees obviously hasn't put that much thought into it.

Agreed 100% He may not be the best worker in the company, or the youngest, but even before he entered the ring, the potential for TNA is staggering.
