I actually like the new version of the Harlem Heat theme. I figured they would use it anyway, since I believe it's public domain, but this isn't bad for a TNA-ized entrance song.

Just watched the clip... Good ole TNA, ripping off old entrances to screw with their fans. First with Christian's Jericho's now Booker T with the Hollywood Rock stalled organs. Well, considering that the guy who makes TNA's videos (Dave Sahadi) made Jericho's WWE intro and Christian's TNA intro, you could just as easily say that he's ripping off himself. And I really don't know what you mean about Booker's, since I assume that the stalled organs for a minute before his theme song was only "mystery" music because he was the "mystery" opponent. Actually, that was as plain as day. Can't see that being his intro every week. Nevermind, you're right. I sure feel screwed with everytime I see those intros. Every time there's a countdown clock on the big screen, I'm all, "OMGZ, JERICHO'S HERE??? Whoa, hold on. Wait a sec...Christian CAGE!?!? WHAT??? Well, he used to be in WWE too! This'll work!!! THIS IS AWESOME! clap clap clap clap clap THIS IS AWESOME!".

Regardless, it makes me wonder if TNA will ever give Joe a chance at the big gold. I'm not too confident this will turn out well as some may think. But I just am jaded against TNA at this point. And with their track record, it's hard not to be.

Ah the old rolling the eyes that makes me feel superior and 100% right tactic. Well played. I have it on good authority that you wouldn't have gotten an eye roll had you not said something like "TNA ripping off entrances to screw with their fans". Those were your words, and I'm sorry, but that statement just didn't make any sense whatsoever. If it was stated as your opinion, I would've let it go...like "I think TNA rips off entrances to screw with their fans", but it was stated as fact, so I rolled my eyes. I apologize.

I apologize. As with all my posts, they are in my opinion not fact.

Anyone who thinks this is a bad accquisition isn't thinking straight. He's the biggest accquisition since Angle, and probably safer for the company than drugged out Angle is. The guy can wrestle. The guy is over. The guy has a fanbase. The guy is marketable. The guy is willing to put people over. The guy has a good mind for the business and can eventually work backstage with TNA, and not be in all for himself. The guy has a wrestling school that not only he can get TNA talent on, he can grow his stars for TNA. It's the perfect accquisition. Anyone else who disagrees obviously hasn't put that much thought into it. This is 100% correct. I LOOOOOVE having Booker on my TV, i really wish he could've used his old Harlem Heat music, but it doesn't sour the fact that he's in TNA.

I think it's come down to the fact that TNA thinks when they bring a name guy in, if they don't use music similar to what that persons best known music is, then nobody will pop or recognize the person. Angle being the exception. Christians is a rip of of his last WWE theme, Booker of his Harlem Heat theme, Sting of his Metallica theme. Hell, the even ripped of Razor Ramon theme for Hall, and The Offspring for Raven

Christians is a complete Evanescence rip, and Scott Halls is an Eagles rip, they probably try and pick songs that sound similar, but they dont straight up rip their old music.

True, it may not be a direct rip, but it definatly influenced their decision. Although, truth be told WCW did that quite a bit too back in the day

To be fair as well, Raven's theme (while a rip off somewhat) is awesome.

Valid point my friend, it honestly sounds like maybe 1 note off of the acual Come out and Play. Actually, now that I think about it, has Raven switched back to the other music he used in TNA. The one that's alot slower and methodical. Cuz that one was pretty damn cool too. I think it fits his current character better then th Offspring music does
