I freaked the F out when they won this match... thinking they had won the tag titles for a few split seconds. Then I remembered that Styles and Tomko had those. Grr.
So yeah, I hope this all leads to the logical conclusion -- Lethal and Dutt vs. 3D for the hostage-taken X-title, and MCMG gets into the tag title scene. Cause dammit, they deserve it.

that match was incredible. 3D were great as the bullying heels, brother ray almost started about twelve riots, the guns were awesome as usual, and the finish was beautiful. both teams came out looking strong, and everyone ended up happy.

This match was awesome, I loved when Brother Ray took Sabin's spot on the apron, reminded me of Super Dragon clapping for El Generico, getting the tag, coming in like a fresh, hot-off-the-tag face and stomping Generico for being an idiot.

Just watched the match on dailymotion. WHAT a match! I've given 3D some stick this year but, man, they were fantastic heels. One of my favourite matches this year for sure. The Guns even hit Total Elimination! The MCMG really are a modern day, face Hollywood Blondes in the making. If you can have such a thing...

In my opinion, Team 3D made the Motor City Machine Guns that night. I know some indy fans may disagree, but they weren't much in the grand scheme of things in wrestling, espeically compared to Team 3D. 3D talked about how they helped make different tag teams, and helped them reach certain points. Brother Ray said if it wasn't for the Eliminators, they wouldn't have been able to reach certain points. And in my opinion, if it wasn't for Team 3D, maybe the Machine Guns wouldn't potentially be a break out team. Now they have this win under their belts, and it can only push them further.
It was definitely one of the best tag team matches I've seen this year, and 3D made Shelly and Sabin look like a million dollars, while still getting more heat then they came with. Team 3D are master heels, and Sabin and Shelly showed that they maybe the next big tag team in wrestling. I'm definitely not just putting 3D over here, because it takes two to tango (or well, 4 in this case). Shelly and Sabin looked awesome tonight, and I really hope this feud continues.
