puroresufan.com/One day after it was revealed by TNA, New Japan has officially announced that 16th and 19th generation IWGP Tag Team Champions, The Steiner Brothers, will return to the company where they became famous in Japan, on January 4th at the Tokyo Dome! The strongest American tag team of the new generation in Japan, Giant Bernard & Travis Tomko, will attempt to boost their own reputation by downing Rick & Scott when they make their V5 defense of the IWGP Tag belts against the brothers. Bernard said this match is like a dream come true for him and gives him a chance to live out one of his boyhood dreams. Bernard thinks he and Tomko can defeat the Steiners and said they will carry the name of New Japan on their back in this New Japan vs. TNA super-battle. He is already studying TNA tapes to determine a strategy with which to defeat the Steiners. The Steiners sent a comment to Japan, congratulating Bernard & Tomko for controlling the tag ranks, as they know how hard that can be from experience. However, they said the champions would regret taking out their name after winning the G1 Tag League, and that they would become 3-time IWGP Tag Team Champions and cause a similar problem to Kurt Angle holding the IWGP 3rd Belt. NJPW "WRESTLE KINGDOM II IN TOKYO DOME", 1/4/08 (WPW) Tokyo Dome 1. IWGP Tag Team Title: Giant Bernard & Travis Tomko (c) vs. Rick Steiner TNA Wrestling & Scott Steiner TNA Wrestling TNA REALLY needs to show the 1/4 show instead of impact

It would be awesome if they actually acknowledged Tomko's reign by having A-Train/Bernard show up on Impact

I hope they do air at least a match or two from Japan, it would make them look more important.

They need to air the title matches at least.
The IWGP 3rd Belt, the IWGP Tag Titles, and the TNA X-Division Title are all going to be defended, right?

They really need to bring Bernard in full time with TNA. I think Styles and Tomko are good as a team, but I'd love to see Bernard and Tomko together.
I know people bitch and moan about oh, TNA brings in too many former WWE guys. Well, that may be true, but it's good to bring in WWE guys that may not have been the most successful, or have been away from the company for awhile and got themselves a reputation elsewhere, like Giant Bernard.

That would be hard considering Bernard is Full Time under contract to New Japan. Tomko also has a contract with New Japan. I think showing the whole 1/4 show would be huge for TNA especially since the whole show will be filmed by NJPW's great camera crew. The only thing i'm wondering is if they'll use a 6 or 4 sided ring.

I think Spike should pick this up as a TNA special and air it as a special, like against the dog show RAW or something.

Marking. I really need to see this.
They need to throw in Jado & Gedo vs MCMG and I'd be real happy.

I for one dont want to see Giant Bernard in TNA. I understand he's improved alot, but like everyone feels, too many ex-WWE guys is bad for business.
A Japan Impact would be hot. I think they should work on a Mexico City one as well. Then again they should try one outside of Orlando, but moneys money.

I like the idea of the show being a TNA special. I mean, the West/Tenay team on commentary would be gold.
