Daniels seems to be TNA's version of Jake the Snake in the 80's. Up and coming stars battle him to get elevated to main event status. It's not a bad place to be on the card; performers like that are one of the most valuable assets a company can get. (Tommy Dreamer and Sandman also fell into the category.) But it is a little frustrating for fans that would like to see him move to the next level.

if they haven't gone through with the Joe run by now, I'm not sure they ever will. i really just have to disagree with that. just because they think kurt angle is a better guy to put the big belt for now doesn't mean they won't ever give joe the belt. think about it, both kurt and joe can really put on great matches, both are very good on the mic, but kurt has the name. he has that little extra name recognition so they are going with him. since joe got out of his feud with angle they fed him christian cage letting him be the one to end the streak. then they used him to elevate someone's status in the company and put joe over him. the guy is still at the top of the roster and it looks like they are building steam for his next title feud. |

Daniels having some sort of storyline with AJ/Tomko might be interesting, as they've kinda hinted about Tomko getting a lil fed up with AJ..
