I'm kinda surprised that he wasn't on the PPV last night.
XXX is quickly becoming the next Diamonds In The Rough.

He needs new wrestling moves added to his arsenal. He's stale on his in-ring to me. Plus he could drop this "God talking to me" gimmick crap.

Perhaps it's because they saw bigger paydays in those guys. I don't know. But I've always thought it was a mistake not to push him more than they have. Whatever shred of prestige still left with the X-Division titles was put there by Daniels, Styles and Joe.

Fatu wrestled 3 dates in TNA. Don't hold him up as some block to Daniels
For not watching TNA at all, you seem to know an awful lot about it.

I know Fatu was shortlived, but my point was that TNA pushed him ahead of Daniels like so many others. (You'll note I didn't include Test, becase he was never more than a midcarder.) To be fair, I should probably also include Kaz, Joe, AJ, and others. My point is that TNA seems to not see Daniels as a main eventer.

I like Daniels and all, but there's a reason he's never been the main guy anywhere he's gone (and it's not because older guys keeping him down). Is he a great wrestler? Damn right. Can he carry a promotion? No.

Yeah, I've seen allot less of Daniels lately, but then again, I'm not too up on TNA news and such.
It's sad: all these bigger name stars coming into the company, they don't have enough room to push the guys who helped make the company anything at all, namely Daniels, Styles, and Joe (for shorter amount of time.)

Can he carry a promotion? No. Has anyone tried? Not that I know of, but honestly I can't say that I blame TNA if they choose not to. He's good in the ring, but apart from that he's boring,IMO.

Something I've never understood. He's excellent in the ring, when you let him talk he's great on the mic-- just hasn't gotten the opportunity to excel in TNA. The only knock on him could 'maybe' be his size, but I think he's charismatic enough to overcome that. It's crazy to me that Ron Killings and Abyss are former titleholders and Fallen Angel isn't.

Can he carry a promotion? No. Has anyone tried? I think by now, plenty of different people know about the guy and if he would have been worthy of being pushed, it would have happened by now. I'm not saying it's a knock on the guy, either. He's a great midcard wrestler. And I wouldn't say Fatu got pushed ahead of him. It's not like they were involved in the same program or anything.

But even if he's not the top heel/face for a company, wouldn't he make a good foil for the top heel/face at some point? Even for a short run? Maybe never win the title, but at least get a few shots at it.

Unknown Fact: Daniels is HELLA boring to the common wrestling fans. I have watched him wrestle live at least a dozen times, and one trend I have noticed; common casual fans could care less about Daniels.
I enjoy his work, but I dont really see him as a World Title kind of guy.

I honestly think it's because he's like the Kane of TNA. Daniels would rather put over younger guys than lobby himself to be a top guy. So even if he were offered, he'd probably say "Push AJ/Joe/Christian etc." instead.
I think talent wise he could, but I don't think he would ever do it.

The world has come to an end, for I agree with Hollywood.
Were I in charge I would totally have Christopher Daniels in the world title picture.
But I don't object to Sting, Kurt Angle or Christian having had world title runs, (and bringing up Fatu really came out of left field.)
