Angle, for one reason.
He and TNA worked the Internet beautifully in the weeks leading up to it. Nobody saw it coming because everyone thought he was half-dead and going into MMA. It was the first time the Internet had been successfully swerved on something in years.
A year later and Angle is still seemingly healthy and able to put on great matches, so I'd say it was a great signing that still resonates today.

Angle, but only because everyone blew their loads at first and called for TNA to skyrocket immediately, only for pretty much nothing to happen
