I'm watching my best of Sabu in Japan DVD and he's facing Black Tiger in 7/95. I'm thinking it's Silver King, but I just want some conformation.

Eddie Guerrero was Black Tiger until '96. Silver King didn't become the third Black Tiger until after WCW closed.

Whaaat?! Dude there is NO way that was Eddie. He did do 2 Frogsplashes, but this dude was pretty damn top heavy like Silver King was. But it was an excellent match regaurdless.

Eddie Guerrero was the second Black Tiger from 1993 to 1996.

If I knew how to upload things from a DVD I would show you this match and you would have to justify barrel chested EG (aka SILVER KING DAMMIT!), and the Jushin Liger vs Sabu match aka One of the Best Matches...um...EVER?

It can't be Silver King. He didn't become Black Tiger until 2001. It has to be Eddie Guerrero.

The persona was inactive for nearly 7 years when Silver King picked it up in 2003, and I believe that Eddie was the only person to wrestle as Black Tiger during the 90s. It's definitely him.

Your talking about the highspots comp? That is Eddie. Yeah. Wow, maybe it's just been a while since I've seen Eddie wrestle.

I can attest to it. Eddie did look barrelchested in that costume.

Wasn't he barrelchested when he first showed up in WCW? I remember thinking at one point that he had really slimmed down, and he kept that look.

Yeah by that time, but I mean around 95 when he showed up. I don't think it was long, I think he got injured or something and then came back slimmed down.
