eddie guerrero is spinning in his grave right now.
are they actually gonna have someone on hand to enforce this, or are they just gonna allow the ref to be lenient like they normally do? because this means that ther are going to be:
no heels
no double team moves
no stipulation matches (more or less, seeing as there's no blood and no wrestling "all over the building, keeng!")
no blood
no submissions by the looks of things
no attire other than basic trunks (also, does this include masks?)
well, that must suck if you live in georgia. chances are the entire scene is gonna dry up there.

So, the way I see it, the only wrestlers allowed in Georgia now are:
Elijah Burke
CM Punk
Batista
Lashley
Kenny Dykstra
Trevor Murdoch
because they wear trunks, and none of them can do anything remotely heelish, whether weapons, insults or otherwise, they can only wrestle a regular or 2/3 falls match, none can bleed, none can exit the ring, if there's a tag match they can't do double teams, referees can't be invovled in any way, an ambulance has to be right by the ring, nobody can do a submission hold, and fans under 18 need a parent to help them pee. What else? I can't actually view the page, so I've only picked up this from posts. Could somebody post the full list of these rules?
Are Georgian officials seriously in the belief that wrestling is 100% legit, fans under 18 are mentally and emotionally retarded, and anything other than a body slam will cripple a wrestler and require ambulances? Good grief.

So either
a) Georgia Lawmakers are the only people left in the known universe who still think wrestling is real, or
b) They want wrestling out of Georgia, but don't want to say so explicitly, so they're making the rules so restrictive that nobody in their right mind would book an event there.
God, I hope it's (b), but I've seen so many lawmakers do so many boneheaded things, that (a) isn't entirely out of the realm of possibility..........

So, the way I see it, the only wrestlers allowed in Georgia now are: Batista Bobby Lashley John Cena fixed for the benefit of maniacal laughter.......... Anyway, no matter how silly and straight laced that thing is is says nothing about drug testing, which pisses me off.  |
