that didnt make a name for them self in the E?
I really enjoyed the Angle/Kaz match and at this point of TNAs life they do need ex E guys to draw fans in.
If TNA ever does succed then it will be time to really push their original talent.
I know this is a wrestling board and workrates and all thats important but I really think Abyss is TNA's best guy.
A lot of the casual fans think he looks cool and a lot of kids on youtube think he's the "original" masked Kane. If TNA ever does get in the 2.0 ratings I think they should push Abyss.

Petey Williams or AJ Styles. The Canadian Destroyer is simply a license to print money and AJ's entire arsenal is pretty much the same

Abyss is pretty marketable in that he has an easy to understand gimmick and distinct look, even given obvious inspirations.
Samoa Joe and Kaz are easy to embrace faces, too.

Joe. He's unlike anything in the WWE, and hell, unlike anything else in TNA.

Gotta put Petey Williams in a high-mid to main event position is key. That move (The Canadian Destoyer) is something that will catch on with EVERYONE. I'm not saying World Champ, but put him up there. Sort of how the Hardys are in WWE. They're not main eventers, but they do cool stuff and are high enough to be significant.
AJ Styles...main eventer...world champion...great wrestler...success for TNA...period.
I think Samoa Joe is not someone who would catch on with the mainstram fan.
I think TNA ought to bring back Monty Brown whenever his family issues are resolved. He's not the greatest wrestler, but I think he can catch on with the average fan.

Samoa Joe.
There is so much money to be made with him. This is all due to the popularity of UFC/MMA - Joe is a character that has a believable personality and believable matches, which would attract a wider audience. People connect with that.
Plus, it helps that there's nobody in both WWE and TNA with a character like his. The only one that came close is Taz in ECW.

Also, CM Punk's popularity has led a number of people to check out his past, especially his run in ROH. Guess who comes up the most in that history? Why, Samoa Joe, of course.

Uh...this is for people that weren't big in WWE...and I'm pretty sure that Angle won at least 1 World Title *coughsixcough* while he was there... As for the question, Joe... There's nothing else to say...just....Joe.

Sting, Joe and AJ, probably in that order.
Sting is probably the biggest name in the US to not be in WWE.
Joe brings that MMA/UFC aura that could bring in a lot of people and hook them after seeing a man of his size do some of the things he can do.
AJ would probably be second but, his character being so dumbed down hurts but, the catch is with out the character he wouldn't be as marketable I think.

imo either AJ Styles or Christopher Daniels (tho i more lean on AJs side) because (well at one time) the X division was TNAs bread n butter...
i could also say double J but i dunno if he falls under establised WWE guy

i think kaz's push is what TNA would reply to this thread. since most of their main event guys are old, he may be the guy they are pinning their hopes on.

Samoa Joe.
Shelley has the potential to be something really special one day.
For women I'd say Kong. Lots of girl can look up to her and they too can dream of one day being 6 foot tall and crushing everything in their path.

However, if they turned him into 'The Future' Frankie Kazarian and actually gave him a character, things might be different.

When used right... Christopher Daniels.
Great nick name, great wrestler, and awesome on the mic.
Plus "Fallen Angel" t-shirts would sell.

LAX and they seemed to be on the verge of drawing when they were feuding with AJ and Daniels. There's a large latino audience that shouldn't be ignored and could help bring them in whether they're faces or heels

Hard telling. The only one I've ever seen them give the mic to is AJ. Seriously though, I'm kind of not kidding. If it's not a new E cast off, it's always one of the same core people. Always. They might not ever know who their most marketable guy is they don't explore. And they can't explore if they've only one hour every week. (still, right?) They've got to use the same tired ass "stars" while their talent atrophies from disuse.

1. Daniels, the perfect mix of a great promo, with great fluid moves, a good character and distinguishing look 2. Joe, awesome worker, and a unique charisma not seen by anyone in WWE, a good mix of power, speed, and agility 3. Alex Shelley, one of the best talkers in TNA, and can work with anyone, give him a little time to grow in the midcard teaming with Sabin, but one day he'll be ready to make a splash 4. AJ, not the greatest talker, but he has improved on that, but his work has gotten a lot better even since the begininng of TNA, he doesn't need to do 100 moves because he can get reactions by building up to those moves now
i don't really think petey is anything special, he is the very definition of a one move wonder, he's got no discernable character, and outside of the destroyer he isn't all that special, and i'm not positive he can do the move on bigger guys anyway, which means he would always be limited to the x-division
and while he was a WWE guy, Tomko is gonna be a big star one day. WWE never really did much with him, and since leaving WWE he has learned to work pretty damn well, and he has a great star quality that will make him a dominant heavyweight for years to come, and the eventual feud with Cage should be just the launch he really needs
