I'm just looking at the Roster page on TNA's site... of the 48 pictured there, 7 are women, 2 are "management" (Cornette and Mitchell), and 17 were used in different leagues (I included WCW, counting for Sting, Skipper and Jarrett).
From the remaining 22 wrestlers, I'm picking (in no particular order)...
Abyss and Samoa Joe (for the Heavyweights), LAX and the MMG (for the tag teams) and Petey and Senshi for the X Division (although somebody should be making a ton of money on Shark Boy t-shirts!!!).

Samoa Joe and the MCMG. Joe is just a fun guy to watch and the MachineGuns could do well in the teenage market.

Samoa Joe LAX (please push these guys to the moon as faces...plus they have cool T-Shirts and stuff that don't look like anything that has to do with wrestling.) The Guns AJ Styles Kaz

Samoa Joe definitely. He is truly unique in the sport right now in terms of his style, persona, and look. Casual fans would be surprised to see how quickly a big man like him can move and his matches really have that hard-hitting style that fans are looking for with UFC/MMA right now. I hope that TNA finally realizes that Joe needs to be the champ for an extended period of time as soon as possible.

Joe, if they put him against the right guys.
MCMG are remarkabley charismatic and arguably the most potentially marketable face tag team in the past four years in either WWE or TNA.
LAX can hit big with the Latino crowd.
Allow AJ to continue building his personality, and he could be a great long term public face for TNA.
Gail Kim is a great traditional female babyface and good be the "Trish Stratus" (see 2002-2006 minus her heel run) of the company.
Once Booker retires he could be great as a spokesmen of sorts, especially if he's a non-wrestling role.

Kaz is not that big of a star yet. Restart this thread in a few months and I may change my answers.

Petey Williams or AJ Styles. The Canadian Destroyer is simply a license to print money and AJ's entire arsenal is pretty much the same a.j. is definitely on the list. however i wouldn't put petey williams. i love the guy personally he can put on some awesome matches. i just don't think he would be at the top of the list of most marketable, even if his finisher is cool. he would need a lot more work on having an actual character and to make people care about him for more than a flipping piledriver. i think the best bet with him so far is to use him to compliment somebody else and form a tag team. with how booming the tna tag division is i think he could really find a nice spot there. Hard telling. The only one I've ever seen them give the mic to is AJ. Seriously though, I'm kind of not kidding. If it's not a new E cast off, it's always one of the same core people. Always. They might not ever know who their most marketable guy is they don't explore. And they can't explore if they've only one hour every week. (still, right?) They've got to use the same tired ass "stars" while their talent atrophies from disuse. don't worry it is not as bad you think. i take it you are basing this off of past viewing experiences or reading results online (i say this because you were not even aware of how long their show is) but you are mistaken. they do push the younger talent and give them mic time. as for who i think the most marketable are: a.j. styles alex shelley l.a.x.

i gotta say i seem to disagree with a bit of you on a few things..
kaz - (as stated before) is VERY generic and seems to have the charisma of a cheeseball...i dunno maybe he just doesnt click with me....his in ring ability is nice tho, hes really quick but i wouldnt bank on kaz...
petey williams - the guy is a destroyer but what is he like 5'0" !?!?!(not seriously but hes VERY small) and unless he get a new finisher i dunno where hes goin cuz the canadian destroyer (as cool as it looks) its pretty dangerous and i couldnt picture main eventers being too willing to take one...
MCMG - now i gotta say as a tag team these guys are HOT...i could almost imagine them as TNAs Hardy Boyz but as singles (man am i gonna catch heat for this) theyre lame...shelly needs to start carrying around the camera again...

Barring Kurt Angle, Booker T, Christian, and all those other "made in WWE/WCW/ECW" types
In truth it is most definitely Tomko. Listen to me. First off he wasn't in WWE long enough or made prominent enough to really be considered a WWE guy. The guy has an EXCELLENT look first off. Look is about 70% of getting over. Tomko looks like a bad ass, has cool tatoos, and Facial Hair that's distinct. He looks like a UFC Fighter which are all the rage. If you're going for that teenage-30 something demo he definitely works. he looks like a real life version of Kratos from God of War. He's also got definite quiet cool charisma. Plus he can get it done in the ring.
AJ, Joe, Kaz and others are strictly for the smark types/teenage girls (well not joe), not for a bigger audience.
Tomko is definitely being groomed for a top spot and I could easily see him main eventing in 2008.
Seriously, Tomko is awesome.
Okay for the bigger audience, Tomko is definitely going to get the most different types of fans on board.
After Tomko I'd definitely put LAX. Great look to their team again. Homicide brings it on the mic. In the ring they are the best tag team in North America. They are also latino so they bring in that audience. Being the only Latino wrestlers in TNA definitely gives them a distinctiveness. Plus they are "gangsta" types. Which brings in a lot of cash especially merchandise wise. the LAX shirts are boss, but then there needs to be beanies, bandana's like Homicide wears to the ring, some LOCs i guess only people who know cholo style knows what locs are (big dark sunglasses for the unitiated), and of course the temporary tatoos.
Temporary tatoos is something I think TNA needs to jump on too.
Smarky/NErds will like:
Samoa Joe Abyss
For getting the teenage girls they have a great roster of guys:
AJ Styles Motor City Machine Guns Brother Ray....

My answer is Joe. Any time I've forced any of my WWE fan friends to watch TNA, they all come away loving Joe. He's just got something.

3 Pages and only two people said Sting. TWO! He's obviously the biggest name ever to not be in WWE.
Now if you mean people who made themselves in TNA... I'd go with: Joe, AJ, Kaz, Daniels, Tomko, MCMG, and Abyss.
It's unfortunate these guys aren't pushed harder. The main event scene is living off the past. Actually in TNA AND WWE, both companies are living off the past. WWE needs to learn to push new guys who are actually exciting and entertaining... not roided crap bags on the mic and in-ring skills. TNA is starting to push some more guys but it seems they are only pushing them to the high midcard.

TNA is starting to push some more guys but it seems they are only pushing them to the high midcard. well personally i consider joe a main eventer since he does main event quite often. i mean the real big feud for the title before angle/sting was angle/joe. with joe being the third man on team outsiders, it looks like joe/angle is picking up again. abyss gets thrown to main event sporadically. i think a.j. is an upper midcarder but he is really close to main event level. he will probably be in the main event of the next pay per view. motor city just got their first big win over a legendary tag team and it appears they are building up the tag team. i wouldn't be surprised if they got tag title shots within the next few months. so i don't think it is that bad. sting had two pay per view main events in a row, one featuring kevin nash and booker. that means the last two ppv main events did not have younger talent. keep in mind though the last four pay per views before those all did.
