Not sure whether this thread belongs here but move it required But a mate of mine directed me to this hypeshow on the net. I was blown away. And man, am i ready for this fight. But after watching this i pray Hatton (Who again seems soo sound) whips Mayweathers ass (Who comes off as a total douche) Although unfortunately i'm not confident www.hbo.com/boxing/events/2007/247/

I'm not familiar with Hatton but I'm all for someone checking Mayweather. Someone seriously needs to beat that dude back into his place. I'm tired of it.

Mayweather used to walk the walk but he doesnt bring it anymore, talks too much for his own good, at lightweight he was popular. Personally i don't think Mayweather as Top 5 P4P anymore :/

People doubt Hatton because he is British.
They doubted Calzaghe, they doubted him before Jeff Lacy and look what happened. They doubted him before Peter Manfredo and Joe humbled him. They doubted him before Kessler, they doubt him no more. Calzaghe is the best pound for pound boxer in the world. Period.
But yeah I am kind of indeiiferent to Hatton, but I hope he whoops seven bells out of Mayweather.

I'm picking Hatton to take this fight and to do so soundly. I think Mayweather knows it too. I felt he did dancing with the stars so he could have something to blame should he get throttled.

I've been watching Hatton on Showtime boxing for years now. If you get the chance, find any of his fights in England. His entrances are of epic proportions. The giant lights flashing "HITMAN" then "HATTON" are awesome.
I hope Hatton wins hands down.

Mayweather is a great draw, he gets everyone to hate him so they will buy the fight to see the other guy kick his ass then has a boring fight and wins, works everytime.

You brits said the same thing about Eubank before he lost, then you forgot about him. Calzaghe is Top 5 yeah but the best? No way.

I think Mayweather's underestimating Hatton, who's probably the first opponent Mayweather has failed to use his mind games against. Although I rate Calzaghe as a better boxer, I think Hatton could well get it done.
