I know I spelled his name wrong, but if you have the chance to watch this, DO IT.
He books WWE's new run of ECW and he's smurfing brilliant. He books 6 months from the beginning of the re-launch until the PPV and the card he puts together is amazing. And just hearing him talking angles and ideas, who he would use, and his storylines, it just blows my mind.
This guy is the best booker today, and I know Im prob alone on this, but I would have loved for him to go to TNA in 2004 with all the sex offender stuff going on.
Gabe + Money + TV = More Money

I got the DVD and other than it being on a Memorex DVD, which stalls and freezes at some times, its a great DVD and I was surprised how he books the D2D PPV. Compared to the one WWE did, Gabe's D2D looks like Wrestlemania 3, 6 and 19 all into one.

I loved this DVD, and I also highly recommend it. We had a I actually ordered it shortly after it came out and several people discussed it, with most everyone acknowledging that Gabe's ideas were not only great, but also not what we would've expected.
Not only that, it's just a vey well put together DVD. Most shoot interviews are simply a talking head and a mic, but this one added some things to spice it up and make it easier to sit through. It's not a WWE-level production by any means, but in terms of "indy shoots" it's probably the best quality you'll find.
(I just ordered the JJ Dillon one, and I'm looking forward to it.)

I thought it was really good. Only problem I had with it is that I would have preferred him to use the roster that Vince gave ECW in reality, rather than pick and choose people he liked.

But that's essentially what Paul Heyman did. He selected a majority of the guys that appeared on ECW, not Vince. Unless I'm mistaken?

I just don't think a lot of the guys he mentioned would have been moved from their spots on other shows. For instance, London and Kendrick were Tag Champs on SD, and the only thing keeping that division alive, I just don't think they would have been moved. But again, its fantasy booking, so I'm complaining about nothing.

Thru quick wiki research, ECW started on June 13, 2006, and Londrick won the Tag straps from MNM on May 21, 2006, so It was really really close, but yes.

I honestly have a crush on that man for his raw talent. No joke. Life just works that way.
