Why didn't they just keep him as a heel who thought America had gotten soft? That would've made sense.

Why didn't they just keep him as a heel who thought America had gotten soft? That would've made sense. Because that might have had a morally ambiguous appeal to some people and WWE only had tweeners starting with Stone Cold.

Why didn't they just keep him as a heel who thought America had gotten soft? That would've made sense. Because that wouldn't have been completely tasteless and exploitative.

Brother Love has an incredibly annoying voice, I wish I could reach through the computer screen and slug him one.

Brother Love has an incredibly annoying voice, I wish I could reach through the computer screen and slug him one. That's what Vince wanted... Hopefully you wanted to slug Jimmy Swaggert and What's his face... Jim and Tammy Faye Something or other...

Its somehow even more annoying on a computer screen than on a TV.

I remember Slaughter in WCW for like a week talking crap on Sting.
WTF was that about?

I don't ever remember Slaughter appearing in WCW during the Sting era.
Slaughter made some JCP appearances during the Pro Wrestling USA era, but those were before Sting wrestled there. During Sting's time, he wrestled for the AWA (in sporadic stints) until he went to the WWF in 1990. Once he stopped wrestling actively there in '92, he worked as an agent there until the mid 90s, when he left and worked briefly for Tito Santana's AWF and then went back to the WWF as an agent. He's still there to this day.
