I'd like to know what exactly Nash has done for the X-Division other than sit on his ass making bad jokes during stupid vignettes? I agree with you, but some would argue that Nash was playing the part of a manager. Although those weird skits did help Shelley, Sabin, & Lethal since they have been revealed to be charismatic on their own. We should also mention Senshi and Starr (despite their exits) since they added their own charisma to the skits. Senshi should have gotten a decent push for being so upset from being forced into those silly skits; I was hoping that he would destroy someone out of boredom.

Joe isn't a very nice person to fans, most of the time. Joe isn't even nice to many of the indy promoters he works with. Joe has a bit of a head on him. That said, he's a far better worker now than Nash or Hall at this stage in their respective careers.
Just as unfortunate? Joe is nevertheless extremely overrated.

This hurt the PPV so much. But Joe did save it. Whether you think he was wrong, or overated, or whatever, he made an emotional speech that many of the wrestlers and fans agree with.
Dixie can be hurt as much as she wants, and so can Kevin, but he went to bat for the younger workers who didnt make their name in WWE only to come to TNA and half ass it. This sets a precedent, and creates major interest and heat in the product. Even though that was prob the worst PPV TNA has put on in a long time.
Does this set up Samoa Joe vs Kevin Nash? Does that even work? With Kurt Angle, Christian, Booker T, Aj Styles, and Kaz all in the middle. It really does set up alot of storylines with alot of heat.

the best part of the promo, Joe looks at nash, and nash grabs his nuts telling joe to get off these nuts. Nash is GOD! Nash has done nothing but good for TNa for the past year working with the x-division and other younger guys What "good" has he done exactly? Push for the return of a guy who no-shows the promotion he's supposedly working for for the millionth time? You think that the other wrestlers should have to take that crap from Hall? I sure as hell don't, throw his drunko ass out on the street with the rest of the bums if he can't fulfill his duties. And throw Nash out too if he moans that they won't give his drinking buddy free handouts.

But it gave them character!!!!111!!one! That's all I ever heard whenever I said I didn't like them. All it did was make them look like goofs.

I just saw the Samoa Joe "shoot" and I gotta say IMO it was weak. He came across as a gigantic cry-baby and kept rambling on and on about the same thing over and over again. I think it would've been better had he just made his point and got down to business.
And then the payoff was Eric Young.

All it did was make them look like goofs. Better they be goofs who stand out, than generic Cruiserweight with no character or gimmick or direction. It's not even Nash going to bat for Hall, it was Nash saying you're an asshole to Joe. Joe's got nothing to complain about, he's booked in main events, gets paid really well, and only works at the most 6 days in a month. He's got it real easy. Plus I don't even think Nash is one of the guys keeping the younger guys down. Nash, SHelley, Sabin, the MCMG with Kevin Nash would be so awesome now. Especially if they just attack crybaby Joe.

I personally would have used Chris Harris, but then he's some sorta tweener or good guy, or maybe he's a bad guy..
Or if they wanted an ultimate swerve, Christian Cage, since he's busted his ass for TNA.

shelly wouldn't be s*** in TNA if it werent for nash.
Baby Bear, anyone? yeah that flew REAL well.
sonjay would still be "that talented guy lost in teh shuffle"
and jay lethat would probably have left by now and be in some kind of crappy feud with Archadia or something in JAPW if it weren't for nash...
those PCS skits did more for the X-Division than most smarks want to believe. Nash has every right to be pissed, so does Joe... let them be pissed, It dosen't really make that big of a difference to me, or any of us really. IT'S ALL A WORK!

Yeah pretty much, people who hated the PCS hated them because the x-guys weren't wrestling.
Senshi got to use his unused mic skills, he's given some really good promos, Jay and Sonjay got to show their lighter sides and sense of humor, Aries got to get his character over, Shelley actually got mic time.
When it was the Detroit heroes, Sabin, Shelley, and Nash as the new PP got to get a lot of screen time, and only recently were Sabin and Shelley allowed time to get over the type of guys they are. THis worked to their advantage. Without the backlund fued or being teamed with Nash and getting the mic time, they'd be a really good tag team without any character.
Right now they are a lot like the Outsiders, in the form of really good cruiserweights. So they are like if HBK/x-pac were to ever tag team.

As soon as they realized Hall was LATE, they should have searched for an alternative. Maybe they should have had backup even before that, but Hall SEEMED to be stable...
However Eric Young was not the best choice. He had an injury (KAYFABE!) and wrestled before in a singles match. The best choices would have probably been Jeff Jarrett, Sting or someone from the Feast or Fired match since that was just a battle royale which is not as exhausting as a singles match.
Best choices IN COMBINATION WITH Joe's shoot: Jay Lethal, Homicide, Hernandez, Matt Morgan, Petey Williams... They even could have Joe dismiss Nash and replace the Outsiders with LAX.
Best alternatives to have planned with as backup IF Hall might not show up: Jeff Jarrett, Sting, Sabu (no, forget it he unreliable as hell, too), RVD (now that would be a markout), Vampiro, Sean Waltman (he's not as unreliable as Hall)
