Hi, everybody. I'm posting this here, because it's the best place I know of where people appreciate both great comedy and pro wrestling (separate or together). I apologize if show plugs are frowned upon here, but this is truly an unorthodox wrestling event, to say the least. UCBW Hanukkaos is happening this Saturday night, December 8th at midnight at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in NYC. The UCBW is a comedy wrestling league based at The UCB Theatre in New York City, which is widely regarded as one of the best improv/sketch comedy theaters in the country. Each week, UCBW "MegaStars" present one actual wrestling match and cut a few promos at the weekly CageMatch show. Hanukkaos is one of the four annual "pay-per-view" events, where months of storylines build to a card of hysterical matches and promos. The matches are fully choreographed and feature an awesome balance of athletic physicality and hilarious comedy moves. The dedicated fans get legitimately amped up for several highly anticipated matches. All the performers are experienced New York City comedians and are all huge wrestling fans. UCBW shows are a great homage and parody to the business we all love. It's only 5 bucks to see the exciting and hilarious show live in the 160-seat comedy theatre. If you've never seen UCBW before, it's an experience you'll never forget. Make reservations at this link here: ucbtheatre.com/schedule/showdetails.php?showid=1279If anybody has any questions or would like to know more about what UCBW is or how it operates, send me an e-mail: zachlinder at gmail dot com Thanks!
