Anyone remember this happening in WCW? It was on one of the weekend shows during the Dangerous Alliance period ('91-'92), and Steamboat was facing either Rude or Steve Austin, I believe. He turned around and walloped Madusa, and while she crawled away on the mat, he began apologizing profusely, setting himself up to be attacked from behind.
I've been trying forever to find a clip.

This was the era when I first started watching WCW but I somehow don't remember this incident. I do remember when they had 3 separate women who said they were all sleeping with Steamboat though.

Apologies for the double post, but I unearthed some more info ...
From an Observer flashback report from WCW Worldwide: In a great angle that occurred during a Ricky Steamboat vs Bobby Eaton match, Steamboat slapped Madusa, after she had interfered in the match and attempted to kick him. Male wrestlers attacking Madusa had been heavily teased in recent weeks (particularly with the Steiners last week), but they finally pulled the trigger with this incident. Steamboat was mortified by his actions almost immediately, and attempted to attend to the fallen Madusa. The entire Dangerous Alliance hit the ring, with Rick Rude destroying Steamboat with a hard chairshot to the back. The angle turned hardcore with Rude viciously smashing Steamboat’s face on to the concrete floor outside the ring, ‘breaking Steamboat’s nose’. Steamboat’s face was covered in blood, which was digitised. A ton of top babyface wrestlers made the save for Steamboat, in a chaotic scene which drew great heat.
I must see this again.

I must see this again. I have the clip of it from the Wrestlewar 1992 pregame show where they bloody his nose, you couldn't see the blood because of the digitialization but yeah it got a lot of heat for it. Worldwide had some good angles back in the day. I'll try to see if I could upload it tomorrow.

More than the nose-breaking attack, I just wanna see the hit on Madusa and Steamboat's reaction.

Steamboat's face was like his jaw drop, and he just sorta had this feeling like NO OMG WHAT DID I DO!
And you know that was just something you could never buy steamboat doing on purpose, heck i'd even buy sting hitting medusa more than i'd buy Steamboat doing it.

I must see this again. I have the clip of it from the wrestlecrap 1992 pregame show At least they admitted the company was crap by naming one of their PPVs "Wrestlecrap" (P.S. I know what you meant, just thought it was too easy of a joke to not take)
