Put this in here since this is more likely to impact more than just the WWE: www.wrestlingobserver.com/wo/news/headlines/default.asp?aID=21572--The Energy and Commerce's Subcommittee on Commerce, Trade and Consumer Protection will hold a hearing on 1/23 on steroid use in professional sports coming off today's Mitchell Report. The press release does not mention any sport but baseball, but Rep. Bobby Rush told the Baltimore Sun a few weeks back the hearing would include pro wrestling as the No. 2 sport behind baseball that it was investigating.

Wrestling is a sport.
Wrestling is not a sport.
Wrestling is a sport.
Wrestling is not a sport.
Can we get a proper classification on this so people can stop changing what pro wrestling is whenever it damn well suits them? Sheesh!

Suprisingly with the Mitchell report on Baseball, the HGH story is getting out. Baseball says the are looking to clean up their act. Let's see how bad the wellness policy exemptions look in the light of day.

No 2? Over American Football? Wow. Yeah, Shawn Merriman can have a neck the size of a California redwood and there's linebackers running faster than Barry Sanders, but let's look at WRESTLING. Brilliant. Jed Shaffer ~And will the results from this inquest be as toothless and pointless as the Mitchell Report?

They will. and no, they won't investigate football, that inherited the de facto title of "America's Sport" after the infamous walkout and World Series cancellation.

*Putting on my psychic pants* I predict at least one politican blowing a lot of hot air and then doing nothing. That's always happens so that's not sticking your neck out on a limb there.
