Just found this again a couple of days ago; it's an old photo I bought at a Texas All-Star show in 1986, with Big Bubba (Fred Ottman) and One Man Gang as a babyface tag team. ![](http://i202.photobucket.com/albums/aa286/madisoncarter3/BBOMG.jpg)

Is this before or after Fred Ottman's days as Big Steel Man?

It'd be before since he did the Big Steel Man gimmick in Florida.

I imagine that their finishing move was a devastating double-splash that would almost break the ring.

I'm shocked, too. I mean, One Man Gang doesn't sound like a babyface name.

I wish I could still find the old tapes my aunt gave me from Florida that had Big Steel Man on them.

I wonder what e was like as a face. So Typhoon used the name Big Bubba as well as Ray Traylor?

Honest mistake as Fred Ottman was never Typhoon.I remember in the old UWF when OMG dropped the UWF world title to Big Bubba.I believe that was OMG's last match before defecting to WWF. General Skandor Akbar of "Devastation inc." was managing OMG and then the big shocker was that Big Bubba was now a member of Devastation inc and OMG was fired after losing. UWF was my favorite wrestling show of the late 80's but it went down hill after OMG and a lot of their talent began leaving.

Honest mistake as Fred Ottman was never Typhoon. Uhm, yes, yes he was. Fred Ottman = Big Bubba = Big Steel Man = U.S. Steel = Tugboat = Typhoon = Shockmaster He used the Big Bubba name in Texas All-Star Wrestling, where he was a babyface and teamed briefly with OMG before OMG headed back to Mid-South/UWF. Big Bubba Rogers/Big Bossman is a totally different guy.
