So I was having a conversation with another 'Crapper on AIM and I brought up the idea that the Hardys of today vs. the Steiners of "back in the day" would be a great match. A clash of styles, somewhat, but that's what I've always liked.
Speaking about just the Hardys, I'd also love to see them against Londrick, the Rockers (or even the New Rockers), Demolition, the Freebirds (sadly, I am only really familiar with the Hayes/Garvin version, although I imagine the original Freebirds would have a great match against them as well), the Miracle Violence Connection (Gordy and Williams) and just for S's and G's, the Colossal Connection of Andre the Giant and Haku.
In fact, any of the teams I mentioned, taking on each other, plus add in teams like the Road Warriors, the Hart Foundation, the British Bulldogs, and even the Powers of Pain, would have some classic matches.
So tell me, in kayfabe, who do you want to see fight? This can be any team from any time period, so long as they were a regular tag team. (I consider a "regular" team to be guys that won tag titles, too, although some will be subjective; for example, I think a Jericho/Benoit vs. Barry Windham/Dustin Rhodes match would also be pretty good, kayfabe-wise; also Thrillseekers vs. Shane Douglas/Ricky Steamboat would be pretty kick-ass.)
If this doesn't make sense, just ignore the thread, but I posted thinking entirely in kayfabe, so workrate be damned.
What do you think? I'm interested in hearing other opinions.

Low Ki and Samoa Joe vs. Kobashi and Misawa(at least I don't think its ever happened)
KENTA and Marifuji vs. London and Kendrick
80's/early 90's Steiners vs. The Briscoe Brothers.
EDIT: Didn't read the post entirely, so the first match might need to be scrapped, as they aren't regular partners.

Hollywood Blonds Vs. MNM Great heel-on-heel match with two teams with almost similar styles. Austin/Matthews can be the 'traditional worker', while Nitro/Pillman can be the slight high flying aspect.
London/Kendrick Vs. Motor City Machine Guns Maybe not past/current thing going for it, but still good fun.
Owen Hart & British Bulldog Vs. The Briscoe Bros. Briscoes as the babyfaces, Owen as the cowardy wacky heel..and Davey Boy being awesome, and good stuff would happen.
Can-Am Connection Vs. Strike Force For my own amusement, two Martel's in a single match sounds rad.

London/Kendrick Vs. Motor City Machine Guns Maybe not past/current thing going for it, but still good fun. And lets make sure that DOESN'T happen in a WWE ring...Sabin and Shelley can't conform to Safe Style...

I'm not real sure if this one's ever happened, but it's something I wouldn't mind seeing.
Tables Match Dudleys vs Nasty Boys
Both would have to be in their prime, but damn would I mark. A Hart Foundation/Dudleys match wouldn't be too bad either.
