Barry in the late 80's towards early 90's was one of the best wrestlers ever. It's a shame he never made it big in the WWF. Flair/Windham was just one great feud.

I was a huge Windham mark back in the day and so wish we could get a dvd on him but that will probably never happen. Also, on dailymotion.com, they have the unified tag title match between Rhodes and Windham vs Doc and Gordy from WCW Saturday Night where Rhodes and Windham win the belts.

Awesome worker, Great Contender and great Champion. 90 minute draws with Flair were amazing. Really should have been higher on the card and accomplished more.

I was SO pissed at him when he turned on Lex and joined the Horsemen, so he did his job well. I honestly thought that when he returned to the WWF in 96 or so as the Stalker that he could drop that gimmick and win the belt from Michaels.

The Windham turn in 88 had me fooled too. That is what a heel turn should be! Windham RULES!!!

SPEAKING OF The Stalker, does anyone know where I can find any footage at all of this gimmick?

I wasn't fooled by his heel turn in 92. Saw it coming from a mile away. Facial hair on Barry means he's making the turn

One of my top 10 favorite wrestlers of all time. With a few short remarks here and here, I'm currently vocalizing my enjoyment for how great I thought he was even though no one is even here. So yes, I'm marking out on this, the eve of Christmas.

One of my favorite wrestlers. One of my favorite matches ever was his street fight tag match with Arn against Doom.
I was especially disappointed to see his Widowmaker run cut short. People who don't know what they're talking about always crap on this "gimmick" but as you can see from the links provided, he didn't have a gimmick beyond being a big, mean tough Texan. No lasso, no cowboy hat, nothing. It was just Barry Windham with a new nickname and it was ****ing great.
