PWInsider is reporting that the 12/20 edition of TNA Impact scored a final 1.1 cable rating with a 1.7 share. Gerweck.net Shocking. Just. Plain. Shocking.

Is it possibly for TNA to get ABOVE a 1.1? Or is this the extent of their audience?
If I was TNA I would just do a full two hours of hardcore pyronecrobeastiality just to see if the rating's spiked.

They got a 1.2 last week or the week before. At least they are still keeping steady.

If Jesus Christ himself made his return on Impact, it would still only draw a 1.1

If Jesus Christ himself made his return on Impact, it would still only draw a 1.1 I think it would be lower as they lose the atheist audience.

It will take a long time before TNA gets really established and can have crappy shows with decent ratings. WWE does that sometimes.
No for now they need to keep going and hope the ratings increase.
Makes changes if necessary to help.

Perhaps they're satisfied with that rating. Or at least accepted reality...
In the end, the only thing that matters is whether or not they're making money. And it's certainly possible to turn a profit with a rating less than 3.0.
Of course, if they're looking to grow and expand, it's not so great.

They scored a 1.2 the week before, but that isn't as schticky as making fun of a good old 1.1, so it wasn't even talked about around here.

Abyss's storylines, VKM, and Vince Russo give me plenty of other reasons.

1.2 is probably the entire Spike viewership.

1.2 is probably the entire Spike viewership. Except when that other promotion was on Spike. I'll bet if they had Chris Masters in a sombrero wrestling Test in a reverse pinfall match they'd get a 1.3 -metylerca
