When Rick Steiner defeated Scott Steiner & The Giant for the WCW tag Team Titles he was allowed to choose his own partner.
The next night on Nitro he declares that Kenny Kaos is his championship partner, even going as far as scheduling a Tag Team Title defense against the nWo.
However the very next week Judy Bagwell is introduced as one half of the Tag Team Champions and Kaos doesn't even get mentioned.
Can anyone recall what happened?

"On October 26, 1998 edition of Nitro, Rick Steiner defeated The Giant and Stevie Ray in a handicap match to win the WCW World Tag Team Championship himself. He chose Kenny Kaos as his tag team partner and Kaos became the other half of the World Tag Team Champions. The title was vacated in January 1999 by Steiner and Kaos due to Steiner's injury."
Weird, I've looked in some other places, but can't seem to find anything on it.

I gathered all of this from DDTDigest.com (a great resource for looking up WCW info!):
Rick Steiner won the Tag Titles by himself from Scott Steiner & The Giant at Halloween Havoc on Oct. 25, 1998. Buff Bagwell abandoned Rick during the match, which is why he was awarded the belts by himself.
The next night on Nitro (10/26/98), Rick came out while Kenny Kaos was being beat down by Stevie Ray & Buff Bagwell. Rick chased the heels away and asked Kaos to be his tag team partner and champion.
The next week on Nitro (11/2/98), Kaos is beat down by Scott Steiner & Bagwell during an interview segment. Rick did not appear on the show.
The next week on Nitro (11/9/98), Rick Steiner comes out to save Chris Adams from a Scott & Buff beatdown. He challenges them to a match for the Tag Titles with a mystery partner. They, of course, accept. The match is set to take place. Rick comes out, and then Judy Bagwell comes out as the mystery partner. Buff & Scott don't allow the match to happen, with Buff saying that his mother doesn't have a WCW contract. Rick proposes that they have a title match at World War III.

Whatever happen to Kaos? After this, he did like one or two matches on Saturday Night and he was gone

The last time I remember Kaos wrestling was the 1999 MTV Spring Break Battle Royal that was won by either Jericho or Mysterio
