Can someone please describe this move to me? I've never had the (I'm assuming) pleasure of seeing Morishima wrestle, so I don't know what this move looks like.

It's basically a back suplex, in which the reciever lands on their head.

Ooooh.
You know....on a somewhat-related note, I was discussing with a buddy the other day (who also posts here, by-the-by) how I'm enjoying a subtle resurgence (sp?) of "simpler" finishing moves like that. I actually LIKE Miz's knee-lift-and-neckbreaker combo, though I hate everything else about him. In fact, I've always found the Mr. Wrestling knee-lift to be a pretty legit wicked-looking move.
Same goes for Nigel McGuiness's lariat (also JBL's) and ESPECIALLY Orton's runt punt. In Orton's case, I truly DO NOT understand why that hasn't been booked as a secondary finisher, for as nasty as it looks and the way they've gotten it over as putting people out.
Don't get me wrong, I love the Canadian Destroyer. But it's nice to see guys occasionally take the less-is-more approach and go with something that may not be acrobatic but still looks just plain nasty.

To be honest, Morishima's move isn't a back drop driver. It is a high-angle back drop. I really wish Prazak would stop calling it that, because it isn't. This is a back drop driver:

I agree that it's an awesomely simple finisher; it almost has a Stunner vibe in being a simple, deadly move that can be hit on anyone, anywhere, anytime.
Especially since Morishima has started using it like a real finisher, instead of his former "hit it enough times and eventually this bastard'll stay down" weirdness.
Hell, Morishima's title reign is one of the best things in wrestling at the moment; it's delightful watching him develop from a big guy with loads of potential into a very polished, very psychologically sound main-event wrestler.

Agreed. Morishima is probably my favorite wrestler right now. (If you couldn't tell by my sig.) He has been doing so well lately, and is having a great run on top of Ring of Honor. Also I just feel this is worth noting. His NOAH theme music is my current ring tone. No one knows what is is when they hear it, but I mark out a little on the inside everytime my phone rings.

It is one of those "grown on you" kind of moves. I was like "Weak" when I saw it, but now it's like..."dude, that actually rocks"
Moritaco (as my brother likes to call him) is becoming awesome indeed. I think we may have to change the motto to "Morishima Kills Bitches Dead"
