Finished it last night after the PPV and I must say it was one of the best wrestling books I have ever read. (ok I stole that line from Lance Storm) but seriously. It was one hell of a book. Really funny. Now it's no secret I hate Mick Foley but I'll admit that his first book was really good. In my opinion, Jerichos book outshines Micks. Chris has some really funny stories about his time up in Calgary at the Hart Camp and how it was not what he imagined. His storys about his time in Mexico and everything that happend to him including getting robbed in the middle of nowhere will have you shaking your head in disbelief. I never really knew that Jericho was THAT big in Mexico, almost on the same level as Vampiro, who by the way comes off as the biggest prick in the world. Well anyone who has ever met Vamp will agree with all that! LOL.
The book is really well written and it's like you are having a one on one with Jericho. The funny little sayings after his favortite words. Some hidden jokes that only some people who knows what he's talking about will get. I like the way he loves his mom and talks about his two biggest regrets and with one of them, anyone who really loves their mom would feel the same way. The Lance Storm stories are really good. His time in WCW, when you hear about that you really wonder how the hell did that company stay in buisness as long as it did. WCW had no clue at all, with anything! It's almost as if any one of us could have just walked back stage and get in the ring and have a match, the powers at WCW would never even notice. I can't say enough how good this book is. You can visualize everything that Jericho is saying and it's like you are right there with him.
Aces all the way with this book. Go out and get it! It makes his return that much better.
