If you could go to one of these two live events, which one would you choose. Royal Rumble will be held in Madison Square Garden, which it special in it's self. The WWE has always put on the most memorable events in the Garden. Plus it the Royal Rumble and that is most unique event of all. Wrestle Mania is also special due to the name value. Next year it will be held in the home of Disneyworld. Wrestle Mania in an outdoor stadium will have a most unique feel to it, since it is rare nowadays to see a wrestling event outdoors.

Wrestlemania outside in the rain will be far more memorable than yet another MSG show.

If wrestlemania rains, it might suck like that Puerto Rico show from 85. Something else I realized it that the view from the stands is going to be more distant since it is in a football stadium.

Royal Rumble has always been my favorite. Don't see why it'd be any different this year. I'm looking forward to it.

I'm a huge mark for outdoor events, so I'll go with Wrestlemania.

Mania easily.
Royal Rumble has become less and less interesting as the "winner gets a title shot at Mania" stipulation has grown old, and the outcome rather predictable

Mania easily. Royal Rumble has become less and less interesting as the "winner gets a title shot at Mania" stipulation has grown old, and the outcome rather predictable I see a problem with that because with two and three brands plus triple threat matches, there are several superstars that don't win the rumble and still get a title shot at wrestlemania.

The Rumble. The Rumble is still my favourite gimmick match.

I've been able to predict every Royal Rumble winner (minus this years, I thought HBK would win it) since 2000, so I agree that's it become too predictable.

True, but that'll probably happen disregarding the Rumble outcome. Or anyway, it's been tradition having already established Main Eventers as the final 4 of the Rumble, or at least "predictable" guys who were in line for a push. WIth the title shot stipulation, WWE killed the "surprise effect" a Royal Rumble should provide. Last year it was almost surprising, even though it was on the cards having old school winners, but in the previous years it was so predictable it wasn't even funny...
