I'm sure they'll add in something that requires no physical activity. Matt Hardy vs MVP in a game of Risk!!! Book it..Book it now!!! YES! and during cyber sunday, you can watch them play at the corner of the screen...that'd be so good.... They should do this every week on Smackdown. If its an MMA match the WWE should get some big name MMA star to fill in for Hardy. Sort of like pay back for Hollyfield.

If it's an MMA match, MVP will probably go right for his head, and get it stopped early. Coupled with his street fight with Edge, this would officially make Matt Hardy the first female Tag Team and European Champion in WWE history. |

It's not just the stitches that might prevent him from participating, but the blood loss. If they had to replace the ring mat because of the quantity of blood loss than it's possible that he'll be in no shape to do anything particularly physical, stiches or no. Blood doesn't generate instantly and can make someone very lightheaded and clumsy, the last thing they want for someone in a ppv.

I can see him sitting out Cyber Sunday to be on the safe side... they'll probably run an angle where MVP attacks him backstage, then delay the match until Smackdown in a week or two.

I've said before I'm not personally a big fan of the guy, but it's too bad to hear that he's hurt, since he seemed to be catching a break.
The old Splash Mountain -> hurracanrana reversal spot was something Rey used to do when he was a younger guy back in WCW, but he's not what he used to be.
As far as Matt taking on MVP in another boring-assed non-wrestling "competition" like pizza-eating or hopscotch, I know nobody asked me, but my vote is NO. I watch wrestling shows to because I want to watch wrestling.

Bloodwise he should be ok in a couple days, if that. |
